This version feels more like, "I like to get high at raves" than "I am a criminal mastermind." It depends on how the actors plays it, but this does not inspire confidence.
I agree with everyone else, they are announcing a sequel too quickly, especially since this movie looks like it is going to bomb. Remember the two sequels we were supposed to get to Green Lantern a few years ago?
Why do people always have to change their websites? Can't they just leave it alone, if it works? This isn't an attack against Comicvine, I'm just curious why big companies constantly update their sites when the old versions work fine. It applies to several other sites too (see: youtube).
Green Lantern, because it had the most potential. Young Justice ended with you-know-who, which was expected. I think another season would have been too much. Green Lantern seemed like it was building up to something bigger with Razor's possible new corps, the search for Aya, mentioning the creature living in the green power battery, and a few more lantern corps which were never touched on.
It's a shame to see the Green Lantern show go. It was nice to have Kilowog as a main character for once. I hope we get an ending for Young Justice before it ends. I hope they have time to tie up all of the plot threads.
If I had his powers I would peak into other people's minds. I know, not very original. But not to know what they're thinking about me or anything, just to know what it's like to be them or know them better.
Here's what I don't get: I know DC doesn't want to look outmatched by Marvel in the superhero films department. But if they rush out a Justice League film, they'll look worse. Why don't they go in a different direction? Maybe Vertigo? Can you imagine a Sandman movie? Or even better, a Sandman franchise? That would be able to rival the Avengers. I like that they're making the Justice League movie, but I think they're rushing into it too quickly and ignoring better options. But that's just my opinion.
