@batmannflash: It just based on people favourites, The writers. If you go to the X-Men forum, 50 greatest X-Men, by marvel. The links are there.

@batmannflash: It's very strange list, Kitty rank over Jean, storm and Rogue. Beast is rank over Cyclops and Wolverine. We got a ranking system for the X-Men characters. It's called ranking system of the X-Men characters. You can rank any X-Men character in the franchise. It's on the X-Men forum.

I can't wait to read Amazing X-men now, since i've never read a comic with nightcrawler in it (fairly new to Marvel Comics). Pretty happy to see Iceman ranked at 12th, but if it was my list, i would've put him in the top 10 since he was a member of the original 5, and from what i've read, his character development has been great.

Edit: I just realised that Cyclops and Wolverine are actually tied for fifth... damn that was a nice choice on Marvel's part lol.
