Power Girl Superboy. I love the idea of a female mentor teaching the younger half kryptonian what it means to be hero. And the romance of it! It'd be such a different dynamic(From what I've seen already)

......they're technically related.

He's Lex Luthor and Superman's son(technically) and she's Superman's cousin from a different universe. Closest they'd be is second cousins.

Sooooo... If they moved to West Virginia or certain parts of Alabama no one would notice... :-)

Ms. Marvel and Spider-Man. He needs someone who is independent and not annoying. Plus, they've (the writers) have been joking around with it for a while, enough of the teasing!

Since day one Spider-Man has worried about his loved ones being attacked by his enemies... So, how much sense does it make to have a girlfriend who can basically squash any of the enemies he might have? She's intelligent, has super powers, happens to be hot... So naturally, he only dates her a few times then nothing comes of it?! Really? REALLY MARVEL?!?!?

@FadeToBlackBolt: Nightwing gets around? (Haven't read it before. Just started with this #1 issue)

Nightwing, no contest.... well OK... MAYBE Cyclops is a close second...

Cyclops? Why? Just because he dumps his current wife (and baby) just to get back with his resurrected wife, and then cheats on said wife with the white dominatrix counselor, and ends up sharing a bed with her before his ressurected's wife's dead body is even cold?

Um... Actually, you might have a point...

That's a gross over-simplification and an inaccurate one at that. But yeh, Dick's a slut.

Well yeah.. but it's funnier that way... If I just state the facts as they happened... the joke loses something...

Hercules, he's been doing it for thousands of years.

Wolverine, he has a couple hundred years under his belt.

Iron Man, this one's obvious.

THIS.... HERE... YOU HAVE THE ANSWER...

@Avenging-X-Bolt: No, you really don't...

@fodigg: excellent list there!

@Timandm: Wolverine is more weasel themed, considering wolverines are part of the weasel family

True. I was just referring to Marvel's LATEST explanation of Wolveine... They are now saying he's basically evolved from Wolves.

@MyraMyraMyra: Couldn't agree more... That's really what this thread is about... She had sex so she's a "whore?" REALLY?

There was a Calvin and Hobbes thing (LOVED Calvin and Hobbes) Where they built a tree house and formed a club. Calvin shouts down to Suzie (as she passed by below) "No girls are allowed to join our club." Hobbes asks, "Who do we smooch?"

So, women aren't supposed to have sex unless they're sluts.... Hmmmm.. and men are "players' but who are they supposed to be playing WITH?

I don't think most people even understand what a slut really is... I remember seeing one of those horrible talk shows long ago... I can't remember which... And there was a young man of 19, who was gay, and claimed to have had over 200 sexual partners... The thing that caught my attention was his statement, "But I knew them, it's not like I'm a SLUT or anything." I remember thinking something like, "Um... Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what it means. You're the text book definition of a slut."

But today, we throw that word around so much that we, most of us, have forgotten what it really means... Anyone who knows what a slut really IS, wouldn't be carelessly flinging the word at women because they actually have sex... Rogue had sex and that supposedly makes her a slut? Well, by that logic, EVERYONE'S mom and dad were sluts.. ALL of them... By that definition, I'm a slut... My wife is a slut... her parents are sluts... My parents are... no... I'd rather not think about them doing.. you know...

But it's ridiculous... and the double standard still in place??? What will it take to make things change?

@Avenging-X-Bolt: Well, not "dog" but canine... Wolf... Did you read that HORRID storyline involving Romulus? Where we learn that Wolverine, Sabertooth, Wildchild and a number of others are basically descended from a wolf pack of some sort??? No, I'm not making that up... During the story, Storm and T'challa offered evidence to suggest that Wolverine was a of an evolutionary line that came from the Wolf.... Seriously... Soooo.. it was the closest I could come to a dog man type of character.

The argument that "race and diversity don't matter, only good comics do" is crazy to me. They both matter. Of course comics being good is the most important thing, but I'd rather have a good comic that is diverse over a good comic that is completely homogeneous. I really don't see how you could argue against that.

WELL SAID!

Yes, he's called "Wolverine" but the story goes that he's actually evolved from a line of Wolves.. of some sort. Him, Sabertooth, and Wildchild.

and How about Teon?

Uh oh... You're making me THINK... As as my wife would say, "I haven't had enough coffee yet for the magic to happen." LOL! I love that woman... She's brilliant.

THIS topic/question actually requires a good bit of thought. I LOVE THIS! I'm going to get back to you on this one... As geeky as it sounds, I'm thinking a math model is in order here.

I think DCs heroes are just to powerful honestly, I mean a lot of them (more famous names) fly around space and smite space abstracts, Then, we're suppose to believe guys like Metallo and Gorilla Grodd are suppose to be a match for them....I'm not saying that Marvel doesn't do the same thing ...they do. Just not on as frequent than DC does

I actually don't have a reply to this. It's just SO FREAKING RIGHT, I felt like quoting it...

No Deadpool....this list FAILS!

Deadpool useless? WHAT?!!?!?

Clearly, you're unaware of that time he arrested the Great Lakes Avengers for failing to register with the initiative and... Oh wait.. No.. They WERE registered and that was pointless... Okay, so that doesn't count...

But, how about that how Fear Itself thing where Deadpool got what he thought was a fake hammer and... Oh.. no.. wait... It had the freaking Walrus in it and was completely stupid... So.. Okay, start over...

Remember that time that Deadpool and Bob became pirates?!? And Deadpool made Bob dress up as a parrot?! Tell me THAT was useless, MISTER! Um.. okay, that might have been...

Um... what was my point???
