So, women aren't supposed to have sex unless they're sluts.... Hmmmm.. and men are "players' but who are they supposed to be playing WITH?

I don't think most people even understand what a slut really is... I remember seeing one of those horrible talk shows long ago... I can't remember which... And there was a young man of 19, who was gay, and claimed to have had over 200 sexual partners... The thing that caught my attention was his statement, "But I knew them, it's not like I'm a SLUT or anything." I remember thinking something like, "Um... Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what it means. You're the text book definition of a slut."

But today, we throw that word around so much that we, most of us, have forgotten what it really means... Anyone who knows what a slut really IS, wouldn't be carelessly flinging the word at women because they actually have sex... Rogue had sex and that supposedly makes her a slut? Well, by that logic, EVERYONE'S mom and dad were sluts.. ALL of them... By that definition, I'm a slut... My wife is a slut... her parents are sluts... My parents are... no... I'd rather not think about them doing.. you know...

But it's ridiculous... and the double standard still in place??? What will it take to make things change?

Where we learn that Wolverine, Sabertooth, Wildchild and a number of others are basically descended from a wolf pack of some sort??? No, I'm not making that up... During the story, Storm and T'challa offered evidence to suggest that Wolverine was a of an evolutionary line that came from the Wolf.... Seriously... Soooo.. it was the closest I could come to a dog man type of character.
