Souji Hiura Respect Thread [Updated 9/24/17]

Souji is a minor character who joins Team Kekkaishi after Gen's death. He first starts off as an undercover agent for the Commander who controls him like a puppet and was involved in the Shinyuuchi huntings. Shinyuuchi are places that hold great power, like Karasumori, and it is a great crime to destroy them the way Souji and his companions were. The way he was raised has made it so that he has almost no emotions whatsoever and is nearly incapable of ignoring an order.
This thread will be divided into the following categories:
- Energy Blade Materialization
- Strength
- Speed/Agility
- Durability/Endurance
Energy Blade Materialization
Souji's ability is that he can materialize blades made of pure energy from nearly anywhere on his body, although the most common places for him to do so are from his arms as large blades. He's not an ayakashi-majiri, a person who has powers because they're half ayakashi, but he's more like a Jiugenka user. From the wiki, a Jiugenka user "assign a specific form to their powers, such as a type of weapon. This image is usually chosen as early as childhood, and while it can be manipulated somewhat, the basic shape is fixed and cannot be changed.[...] Another apparent characteristic of jiugenka users is that the assigned form of their power vanishes after use." Makio Shinya, leader of the Battle group for the Night Troop, says that Souji's power is unlike any other Jiugenka users because he can use different forms of his powers:
Blades - In the Arm
The first time we see Souji use his energy blades, he easily cuts up Mamezou's antennae and slices right through Yoshimori's kekkai, forcing him to use his zekkai to defend:
Souji can easily create his energy blade longer than his forearm:
While fighting Yoshimori for the tenketsu-like object he has, Souji uses his energy blades to slce right through a small tree:
Souji has the ability to create a blade for each arm:
With Souji increasing his blade's size even more, Yoshimori believes that his zekkai won't hold up to defend him, and this is the same zekkai that has protected Yoshimori from Kaguro's swords and Mudou's Destruction Balls:
Souji slices up a huge ayakashi in a matter of moments:
Souji creates a blade more than twice his size and cuts a multi-story sized ayakashi clean in half:

Blades - In the Leg
Souji even has the ability to create blades coming out of his leg. When Mamezou ties up his legs with his antennae, Souji creates many small blades from his legs to cut the antennae and set himself free:

Blades - In the Neck
Souji can even materialize blades from out of his neck and creates three small ones when Shuu tries to bite him:
Muscle Enhancement
Souji has the ability to coat certain muscles with the same type of energy that he uses to create his blades to further enhance his muscles. He coats his leg so that he can kick a large piece of rock dozens of feet away at Yoshimori:
Strength
Souji strikes Yoshimori in the back of the head and sends him skidding about ten feet away:
Souji sends Yoshimori flying back, even though he defended with his zekkai, strong enough to crash down some trees:
Souji jumps on the side of Karasumori Academy to gain a foothold to launch himself at two large, slug-like ayakashi:
Souji was able to carry Yoshimori away from two exploding balls as they detonated:
Souji defends Tokine against a transformed Shu's attacks and then knocks Shu back a few meters:
When a transformed Shu tries to attack Tokine, Makio, and Souji from above by skydiving at them full speed, Souji blocks and redirects Shu away with his energy blades:
Speed/Agility
Yoshimori, who's already protected himself and two other from an explosion, admits that Souji's speed is to great to defend against and loses track of him despite Souji running straight at him. He's only warned of Souji's whereabouts after Mamezou tells him:
These next set of scans require quite a bit of explaining to understand why it's such an impressive speed feat. So first, Souji has his legs tied up and Yoshimori uses a large kekkai to break off pieces of rock about six feet above his head so that they would fall on him. Souji then creates blades from his leg to free himself, does a flip in the air so that he is now upside down, and kicks a piece of rock at Yoshimori. Right after the rock lands, Souji is seen as a blur as he appears right next to Yoshimori and aims a kick at his neck, which appears to only be a feign to trick him and pin him against a wall. And once again, Yoshimori who could basically react to an explosion, is impressed by Souji's speed:
Souji is able to knock away the tenketsu-like object that Yoshimori was holding high in the air and then jump up onto a branch to retrieve it. He then disappears in a blur as he makes his escape, jumping from tree branch to tree branch like the ninjas in Naruto do:
When two large ayakashi appeared at Karasumori, Souji attacked them only to find out that they can spew out a whole lot of explosive balls that will detonate when touched. Yoshimori didn't realize two were behind him, and before they go go off, Souji swooped in and saved him. From the scans, we can even see the bombs started to go off as Souji grabbed Yoshimori:
Souji is able to scale Karasumori Academy all the way to the top in a matter of moments and then disappear from the more experienced Night Troops' vision:
Souji is able to reach a target faster than Sen, even though Sen is an ayakashi-majiri and is able to move around as a blur because of that. Despite this, Sen already jumps towards a target and then Souji leaps in after him, reaching before Sen does:
When Shu transforms into a vampire, he tries to attack Tokine and does so appearing FTE, but Souji intercepts him and defends her:
When Karasumori went haywire and was releasing large amounts of energy, Shu couldn't control his demon side and transformed into a vampire. When Makio, Tokine, and Souji went after him to capture him, they knew Shu would target Tokine (because she's a girl and she's young, don't ask), but even then, Shu moved too fast flying clearly FTE++ and was about to strike at Tokine before Souji saw him and jumped behind him, pinning his wings and preventing him from attacking:
Durability/Endurance
When two large slug-like ayakashi are dropped on Karasumori, Souji takes it upon himself to jump at one of them from above and try to strike it down. As he's falling towards one of them, it opens its mouth and spews out these weird balls that explode when they're touched. Not knowing this, Souji cut one that was right next to him and it exploded right in his face, but when he fell to the ground, he told Tokine he was just fine without any scratches on him:
Souji isn't really bothered at all by Shu biting him in the neck with his Vampire fangs:
