Accolades
(Ch. 318) Izuru is considered one of the Soul Society's finest warriors, alongside Assistant Captain Shuhei Hisagi and could-be Assistant Captain Ikkaku Madarame:
Soul Reaper Basics
(Ch. 49) As a Soul Reaper, Hisagi materializes spirit energy from his own soul and manifests it into his zanpaku-to:
(Ch. 35) Reiraku are spirit ribbons, manifestations of spiritual energy, that a good Soul Reaper can sense and a great one can even grab. Being able to sense reiraku allows a Soul Reaper to locate beings with high spiritual power and even track them:
(Ch. 105) In Bleach, a battle between two people is a battle of spiritual power. If one opponent's spiritual power isn't strong enough, they can't even cut a stronger opponent. This is displayed and described by Kenpachi Zaraki when he let's Ichigo Kurosaki get in a free cut during their fight. Zanpaku-To
Shikai
(Ch. 120) All zanpaku-to have two releases, shikai and bankai. Shikai is the first release and occurs when a Soul Reaper calls out their sword's name and along with bankai, needs to be mastered in order to become a Captain:
(Ch. 127) The essence of Shikai is to communicate and synchronize with your zanpaku-to:
(Ch. 168/169) Izuru's zanpaku-to is named Wabisuke and he activates it by saying the phrase "Show yourself". His blade doesn't do anything too crazy but just changes shape to look like a hook that curls inwards towards Izuru:
(Ch. 323) Izuru says Wabisuke is named so because it perfectly exemplifies Third Company's philosophy:
(Ch. 169) Wabisuke's special ability is that it can double the weight of whatever is strikes. One hit doubles the target's weight, another one doubles that weight, and so on and so forth. When he was fighting against Rangiku Matsumoto, she blocked the blade seven times and her sword increased enough to where she couldn't hold it up anymore:

Kido
Kido are spells in the Bleach verse and can be used regardless of a Soul Reaper's zanpaku-to abilities. It's basically the magic of the verse.
Binding Spell 39
(Ch. 322) Izuru uses Binding Spell 39 Enkosen, Circle Lock Fan, to create a circular shield of energy in front of him:
Hado 58
(Ch. 323) Izuru uses Hado 58 Tenran, Tornado, to summon a tornado in an attempt to blow away Abirama Redder and his wing attacks:
Binding Spell 37
(Ch. 336) Izuru uses Binding Spell 37 Tsuriboshi to create a soft net of energy in order to catch Momo Hinamori after she was sent flying away by the Arrancar Ayon:
Bakudo 73
(Ch. 337) Izuru uses Bakudo 73 Tozanshu, Falling Mountain Crystal, to create a large upside down pyramid of energy in order to care to Momo Hinamori's and Rangiku Matsumoto's injuries:
Heal
(Ch. 405) As a former member of the Fourth Company, which specialized in the healing arts, Izuru was able to heal a large missing portion of Rangiku Matsumoto's side and keep her alive, even though he was afraid he might have been out of practice:

(Ch. ) This was the wound Rangiku sustained against Ayon:
Strength
(Ch. 323) Izuru jumps through a window and then cuts down three telephone bowls to block Abirama Redder's wing attacks:
Speed
(Ch.101) Izuru jumps in front of Captain Gin Ichimaru and protects him from Momo Hinamori's attack:
(Ch. 101) Izuru moves his head to dodge one of Momo Hinamori's fireball attacks:
(Ch. 319/320) Izuru moves faster than Abirama Redder could react to in order to cut his cheek:
(Ch. 323) Izuru is able to react to a bullrush from Abirama Redder and cut most of his wings four times with his zanpaku-to:
(Ch. 337) Izuru moves as a blur in order to get right under the Arrancar Ayon and grab Rangiku Matsumoto out of their and get away:
Durability/Endurance
(Ch. 24) A thing to note and be aware of is that according to Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper's life force is equal to his/her spiritual energy:
(Ch. 101) Izuru withstands being a point blank range of one of Momo Hinamori's explosions:
(Ch. 323) Izuru is fine after having the roof he was standing on basically be crushed by Abirama Redder's bullrush attack:
