Actually, I'd go with Hercules. He is durable enough that Apollo can't one-shot him or really harm him, and he will definitely outlast him since his stamina is so great, at which point he will floor him.

A serious K'lrrt goes up thru 10 with little trouble, struggles but probably succeeds from 11 thru 14, (15) Hercules is the first true challenge (due to his strength, durability & stamina )so he might stop here, & stops at (16) Worthy Thor for certain

I think people are really over-hyping the Cell feat. Cell was completely unharmed by it. He literally took no damage and Tien put so much effort into his ki blasts that he was going to die from using it. Piccolo might not have been able to hurt Cell here either but he also never powered up a shot that would have sapped him of his life. I seriously doubt Tien could have handled Android 19 or 20.

I tend to basically agree with this also. I like Tien a lot, and I consider him to be the Trickster of the DBZ world because of all of his techniques, but he still has essentially human or slightly greater than human durability, with only his Ki levels for added protection. Piccolo has his Namekian physiology & regeneration, in addition to his own Ki level durability, so he isn't going down easy in any case. And any use of Tien's Neo Tri-Beam will weaken him, ensuring that Piccolo will then take him out afterwards. I have to go with Piccolo for this one.

If it is current versions then Shazam wins, because Herc is currently depowered, unfortunately. Also the picture of Herc that the op is showing is that of "Chaos War" Hercules, who uber stomps Shazam (any version). Also, for those noting this, Shazam has the abilities and powers of 6 DC Olympian Gods. Marvel's Hercules, when fully powered, was stronger.

Since power levels are equal, I really feel that strategy, skill, focus and heart will determine the winner. As others have pointed out, Kurillen has numerous good showings against foes more powerful than himself, and is much better at spotting and then exploiting an opening in fighting an opponent. But his physical durability is purely human plus whatever Ki protection that he can summon. So despite his technique, he is still usually the first one hurt in big battles. Tien is a no-nonsense type (and possibly a mutant) who just doesn't quit in a serious fight; he has to be either taken out or else unfortunately, he often takes himself out by using Tri-beam. But Tien's willingness & use of the Tri-beam also demonstrates just how far he is willing to go to win. I feel it is going to be in this order;

1) Kurillen

2) Tien (although I can see Kurillen pulling out a win occasionally)

3) Tien (in any death match)

These teams look a little unbalanced to me...the only serious threat on Team 2 is Juggernaut, mostly because of his imvulnerability/force field. The trio of Captain Atom, Orion & Blue Marvel decimates Team Two....the rest is overkill.

Removing Grodd's pyschic abilities basically also removes any realistic chance the Rogues have of winning. Ben has fought the Red Ghost's Super Apes before; Grodd and Girder are no physical threat here , and Trickster is an annoyance at best.

I also agree that I'm not even sure that Vegeta is capable of a "friendly" battle.....his pride and sheer competitiveness doesn't allow him to lose at anything. Having said that, I think that he has the better battle instincts during the heat of battle, but Piccolo is the better strategic planner. During the Namek saga, Vegeta only lost when someone was actually stronger, or if he grossly underestimated his opponent. I could see him being surprised by an equally powered Piccolo, and regeneration is a serious advantage for Piccolo if the fight has rules or goes long enough. Piccolo is also smart enough to use Vegeta's pride & arrogance against him. But Vegeta won't hesitate in a death match, while Piccolo just might. So,

1) Piccolo

2) Piccolo or draw

3) Vegeta

The thing is, since TP is disallowed, I can see almost half of the team 2 going down easily quickly in most scenarios, making the odds far more even. Majestic & Gladiator won't hold back regardless, while Warlock might be capable of countering almost any attack, with someone running interference. I am voting for the Cosmics in S1 & S3, while the Team gets it in the perfect teamwork scenario 2. Scenario 4 is still too close to call for me.

Inbetweener...almost easily.....as the range of his powers far exceeds the Stranger's.
