@project_worm: I bet this book sells pretty well. There is definitely a lot of social media buzz around it. It's just one shop but mine ordered a bunch for subscribers and unsubscribers. Personally I'm surprised more comicvine comments don't reflect excitement.
Why are so many commenters unaware that almost every industry will imitate things that are popular. It's a smart business move to go with what is popular, it happens in tech, fashion, etc. Its not as if all marvel titles are this style/tone. There are certainly more of them but overall not the majority of what the company publishes. Anyway, Marvel would be dumb to not try and direct a certain portion of their books to people who are into this tone and art style.
@child_of_the_past: yeah, don't know why I wrote spencer when I was thinking humphries. I'd actually be way more interested if Nick Spencer was writing.
@mrmazz: This is the reason I have so few Marvel titles on my pull and generally trade wait Marvel books. I also hate the 4.99 trend (I know you get more but I just don't want to drop 5 bucks on a single book). My pull is now overwhelmingly dominated by Image.
I haven't watched wrestling is such a long time, I may have to check out this fight tho. @inferiorego is Stardust related to or have a connection to Golddust. I remember Golddust but don't think Stardust was around while I still watched.
