Maybe Man of Steel was the first

The Man of Steel was the first of DC next line of superhero movies. But then the news came about Man of Steel featuring Batman, I thought it sounded weird. Yes, he had a very good trilogy a few years ago and it could be confusing to start a new one. But then I started thinking again. What if DC would be the first to create a series of films, that would be related but not sequels. Like of Man of Steel 2 would be called Superman/Batman it would be a sequel for Superman and a prequel for Batman. Anyone else thought of this? I mean, sure, Batman will get his own film. But maybe all of DC's movie will be like this, connected in movies where some of them appear and are introduced and the next film of the series will only feature one of them. Maybe this sounds messy but I hope you get it.

DC Zombies: Red Tornado Part Two

The farmer family took their car and started driving to Dansbury Village. Their red protector soared through the skies above them. The little girl of the family couldn’t stop looking out the car window, adoring her savior. Red Tornado’s head was spinning with thoughts, though none of them concerned the family in the car, his thoughts concerned his friends, his fallen friends and those about to fall.

”Why is he just flying around up there, dad?” the girl said to her father.

”I can understand this situation isn’t easy on him, he usual is accompanied by his friends. This situation isn’t easy for anyone.” he responded while driving past a sign saying ”Welcome to Dansbury Village”.

Red Tornado noticed the sign and saw houses on the ground. He quickly flew down on the town square before the family arrived. Silently he searched the town with his eyes. None of the inhabitants seemed infected in any way, but he notices something he rarely sees, something he only heard about. Dansbury Village was an amish village, infact he was the only thing of technological kind except the familiy’s car.

”You never told me this was an amish village.” Red Tornado said calmly when the father of the family arrived next to him.

”I never though it would matter. Why does it?”

”It doesn’t. Not for me, but the amish might have a problem realising there’s a zombie threat, or that I am here to help. I’m not even sure they know who I am or anyone in the superhero community are.”

”Don’t worry, Mr. Tornado. Who can be afraid of you?” the girl said and grabbed Red Tornado’s left hand and dragged him further into town.

A man emerged from the town hall’s entrance, he wore black and white clothes and had beard from ear to ear. While he approach this friendly looking, non-infected looking man he couldn’t help to remember a foe of Batman with a similar beard.

”Welcome, Red Knight! I am the town mayor and I want welcome you to Dansbury Village!” the mayor said loudly and shook Red Tornado’s other hand.

”Red Knight?”

”Yes, our prayers have been answered. The lord sent us one of his angels, wearing the color red, to heal our ill citizen.”

”What kind of sickness is troubling your town?” he asked, playing along.

”I will take you to him.” the mayor said and waved his hand meaning Red Tornado would come with.

”Wait here.” he said to the girl.

In a small house entitled Medical Hut the mayor stopped.

”In the Medical Hut lies a man with terrible skin flaws and unimaginable hallucinations. We had to strap him to his bed so he wouldn’t take a bite of the nurse.”

”That doesn’t sound good.” Red Tornado calmly said while quickly walking into the hut, knowing exactly what was going on.

Red Tornado bursted into the hut and found himself in the same room as the infected.

”Oh my...” the nurse said when the unusual looking android appeared in the doorway.

”I’m here to help. Tell me what happened to this man.”

”Oh, we know very little. He was a handyman and used to help around the village for a small fee. One day he started wrecking things instead of fixing them. We brought him in and noticed his skin changing to this awful green color and he started to get violent. When we realised the devil was possessing this poor man we started praying.”

”It may not be the devil, but something else.” Red Tornado said and he walked to the sleeping man.

Red Tornado recognised a zombie when he saw one, but this one was not as obvious as the others he had fought. This one was ”less” infected than the rest. One of the reasons to this was his skin still having quiet small ressemblance to the human skin and he slept, Red Tornado had never seen a zombie sleep before. He did not know what to do.

Suddenly the man woke, he turned his had to Red Tornado and took an aggressive bite on Red Tornado’s finger. The nurse uttered a loud scream. He reacted very quickly and ripped the man from his bed and summoned a wind that brought down the wall. Then he flew off with the infected man, away from the town.

”Oh my... We will have to fix the wall, but our handyman was just kidnapped.” the mayor said when he saw the wall in pieces.

DC Zombies: Red Tornado Part One

The characters are property of DC Comics. I rate this “T”.

Since the zombie break-out started in Gotham City, it has been unknown how many Americans have been infected. With some heroes dead the problem escalates. Only a hand full of heroes are immune but one special is, and he as sworn to repel the spreading of the virus.

“Current location: Idaho, east. I have managed to repel some of the recent attacks on the north-west American soil. Though some villages have turned into ghost towns or have been burnt down due to the rampaging zombies.”

Red Tornado flew high up in the sky to try and not attract attention. His body had scratches and his cape was torn, but he still kept flying. He had flown for hours, searching for signs of the infected but did not find any, barely any non-infected. But still he knew he was needed so he flew further to the east, to Idaho where he calculated attacks would erupt further.

“Though the day has been quiet, as though the world ended, I spot a thick stream of smoke growing wider in the horizon.” Red Tornado recorded as he raised the power of his tornadoes to pick up speed.

In a matter of a few minutes he reaches a farm with a barn set on fire. Even if he doesn't know if this was caused by the virus or just a coincidence he quickly fired of a strong gust, strong enough to make some of the flames dispatch.

“If I can’t put out the fire fast enough the strong light might attract the infected!” he thought as he fired of two more gusts that put out the fire for good. “I must look for the owners in order to get a clear view of the reason of the fire.”

He landed with heavy thud on the ground and started walking towards the half burnt down barn. Most of the red color was burnt off from the barn. When reaching the barn doors he opened them with loud screeching sound. What he thought he would find was hay, tools, maybe a carriage, but this was something else.

“ZOMBIES!” Red Tornado screamed, as one of the infected citizens in the barn attacked him. He blasted him away, possibly four hundred meters, though he brought a piece of Red Tornado’s cape with him.

They were swift but silent, one after one they ran out of barn and one after one they started lashing out on the android while he himself tried keeping up to their pace. Though the android is made of metal he still felt disgusted when he saw the men, women and children he blasted with gusts to survive. Their frail and rotten bodies were ripped in half in the harsh wind conditions he created.

“Back! You come no further!” the android screamed at the dead.

While he battled the horde with his rampaging whirlwinds his mind spun with an equal rate. He could not for the life of him understand why the zombies would set themselves on fire. Tired and even more scratched, he managed to whirl the last zombie into the barn door that wasn’t burnt. Slowly he moved towards the house a couple of hundred meters from the barn. He took it slow so that he wouldn’t be ambushed by more zombies in hiding. When reaching the house he started looking for trouble or survivors. While looking around the house he found a red basement door which he opened up with a swift move.

“Are… are they gone, Mr. Tornado?”

“I took care of them, little girl. You and your family can come up now.” Red Tornado said to the girl who was hiding with her family.

“I can’t thank you enough, Tornado.” The girl’s father said when the family emerged from the basement.

“It is my job, sir. Do you have any idea why they set the barn on fire?”

“Well, that was me. I managed to lure them into the barn and then I put it aflame. Figured it would take them out but the way you did it was obviously faster. If it weren’t for you they would raid Dansbury Village by now!”

“Is it far from here?”

“Just a few miles to the west.”

“I would suggest you to head there as fast as possible, if it’s safe. The infected probably hasn’t gotten that far yet. I will come with you.” The android said before quickly flying up in the sky.
