@sirfizzwhizz: Tokitoboshi literally translates to "Time-Skipping" in japanese. The show calls it "Time leaping". Jaco explains it to goku as freezing time for .1 seconds while everybody is frozen, but Hit is able to move.
Explain how freezing time means DB characters aren't fast. Then explain how skipping time means their faster than we thought.
Time Skipping means nothing other than clever writing.
Time Skipping:
Hit skips time where he himself is unable to see or react to a pre position block or attack. Makes sense.
Time Freezing:
No way in hell could Hit ever be blocked or tagged. Goku would not be able to fake out someone who can move around his block or out of his reach by freezing time. Hit has all the time to react.
As for the speed of Hit in a time freezing scenario, we have a time frame for Hit. Point 1 seconds. in this .1 second, Hit can only cover roughly 30-50 feet, land a attack, and move back. Looking at examples of Frost, Goku, Vegeta. We know this as all we see is Hit landing a single blow, not thousand or millions, but a single blow at a time, and moving back into his position before anyone notices. So now we have the main things for a speed calc. Time (.1 Second) and Distance (roughly 60-70 feet). This no no where near speed of light.
So the Time Freezing excuse does not add up and makes Hit look like a turtle. Time Skipping makes more sense.
