@thejman251: Depends on the writer. If someone wants to make Batman defeat the JL then he can make it happen.

- Yes as Bruce is the king of PIS/WIS/CIS.

@thejman251: I understood perfectly, you think i'm trying to say that the JL can't in theory beat batman, which is not what i'm saying.

I told you to re-read my post because I edited it, you are still misunderstanding my point

- You posted as if Bruce would have some type of choice in getting apprehended.

- If anyone on the JL or the JLA suspects that he's "gone evil" he goes down within 10 minutes regardless of wherever he is on the planet.

EDIT:

- Oh i forgot to mention the fact that MMH can read minds with ease, and has already read the minds of the entire JL.

- I never said he had a choice in getting apprehended I said he has the capability of avoiding any suspicion leading to his apprehension.

- In order to suspect he has gone evil, Batman must noticeably do something to lead to that suspicion.

-Batman is aware of MMH's abilities as well as everyone in the JL.

- Batman has been known to take a good amount of time in order to accomplish certain goals and often has a back up plan even if not needed.

- Avoid suspicion from who? Probably some people in the JL and that's it.

- You mean like killing the joker which was a part of the OP? Oh ok. Additionally, Bruce is currently considered a top level thread by the government and undoubtedly the JLA as well.

- You say that as if Bruce being aware of MMH's abilities means a damned thing. If MMH wants to lobotomize or kill Bruce, he's dead or out of the picture, end of story.

- I'd love to see Bruce take down the JL, let alone the JLA with MMH Hawkman and Simon on board. Oh, lets not forget about Justice League Dark.

@thejman251: I thought you didn't like Batman and Batman Inc.

- I hardly like half of these books, i simply read them to be aware of what occurs.

- Ok, i do like most of the last five for the most part.

- Now weren't you the one who said that we couldn't take the character's statements of facts and that we had to consider feats as well?

- Isn't this a bit hypocritical of you?

Yes. I did say that. But I meant that a characters statement cannot be taken alone. It must be backed up by feat evidence as you say. And so it is not hypocritical of me because the scans from that fight and the scans following provide support for Slade's statements.

- Really, so Slade beating Bruce provides support for Slade's statements?

Because then Joker would have won, proving the point that one bad day can push one man to his limits. Haven't you read The Killing Joke?

This is correct. Joker wants Batman to kill him. If Batman kills Joker he is no longer a hero and the Joker wins.

The OP's logic can be applied to nearly every hero. Luthor has killed like 90 000 Kryptonians. If we apply his logic to Superman he is a genocidal maniac responsible for all those deaths.

I agree with this. Also what if the court condemns him to death? Then Joker loses!

- Read my post above.

- Except it's not nearly the same with every hero at all.

- You must think that Lex would be running free after killing louis, jimmy, and Clark's parent's?

- Clark is a much better hero than Bruce as he will actually put people away in a place that isn't a revolving door.

- Also, if the Joker keeps on living he continues to win. If you kill him, he may "win" once however, it's over. He won't be killing anymore. By letting this idiot live, Bruce along with the U.S. government are the real criminals in the DCU and gotham will never be safe. Hence, Bruce claims to be protecting gotham and yet, he's the reason it's in peril.

- Moreover, throughout all of Snyder's fatuous and inane drivel, this is one of the few things that i agree with him about.

@thejman251: You're welcome. I'd say Harper has 10% chance to become the new Robin while Carrie has 50%. B&R #24 might be the answer. I trust in Tomasi, hope he doesn't disappoint.

- Well, i can't say that i trust in Tomasi as i've been severely disappointed by B&R#19-20.

- Regardless, we'll have to wait and see.

Perhaps we should send DC a signed letter asking for the official top ten list. I say this knowing I will be mocked for the comment, but I do truly mean it. It would be nice to have this dispute settled in some official fashion. And it would certainly help in battle threads.

- You realize that said list would still be subjective right?
