Great list! I think I'd move just some names around but you more or less got everyone in a solid place.

Iower rankings or higher ones? I find the further down a list you go, the harder it becomes to nail a ranking down.

Moreso the higher ones, the only low ones I'd bump up way higher are Manchester Black and MAYBE Imperiex.

100% agree with you that there’s just something both timeless and quintessential about the Logan’s “civilian” look. It just fits the character so well, partially because Logan’s attitude doesn’t come off as a guy who would “dress up” and partially because of them Midget gains 😂😂. I think a lot of that influence is owed to Jackman’s Logan as well, since he spent the majority of his outings sporting a civilian look apart from a minor all black suit here or there.

Apart from the X-Force look, I think the Ultimate Wolverine suit is my favourite “costume” Logan’s ever had. As much as I love the Orange/Tan or Yellow/Blue, I find the dark and muted colours of X-Force and Ultimate fit him better, but the mask less aspect of the Ultimates has always appealed to me. I just like seein that ugly mug.

Great list mate 🤙🏻🤙🏻 (I’ve also always viewed Logan as more of a 5’8-5’9 height range myself like his 1610 counterpart. I never liked the 5’3 height he was given in the 616 uni, it’s just ridiculous.)

@kangconquers: Bruce and Steve were both also dead for a few years as well so it’s a double edged sword but you’re right, the gaps are close.

Ghost Rider, Punisher, Surfer and Namor’s placing shocked me, heck even Wolverine. I’m flabbergasted Logan is below Hulk and Cap but at the same time it makes sense. Before the 90’s boom Spidey-Hulk-Cap were there most popular characters, in all promotional ads and even some cross promoting with DC, DC would feature the trinity and Marvel would feature Spidey, Hulk and Cap.

Thor should be #3, there’s definitely a major argument to be had for placing Hawkeye above him but I still think Thor should be #3 or #4.

@kangconquers: I think I’d swap Thanos and Galactus and bump down the Pheonix a couple spots but other than that this list is nearly spot on.

Good list, certainly some classic stories with a healthy blend of some modern ones.

I’d still count Hickman’s entire run as one story and put it at 1 hehehe 😈😈😈

Disagree with a lot of what you said about MoS and BvS but that’s what makes this fun, we all have our own takes and our own opinions.

Personally I’d rank it as such

1. Man of Steel (loved it)

2. Wonder Woman (loved it, third act has logic flaws)

3. Batman v Superman: UE (loved it, not the version of Lex I’d have gone for and definitely cramped)

4. Shazam (loved it, CGI and Action weren’t all that strong)

5. Aquaman (loved it, bit weak on the dialogue)

6. Birds of Prey (Not bad, just don’t care about it)

7. Justice League (mediocrity at its finest)

8. Suicide Squad (hate it)
