Hulk Rants: Stop this "Nintendo is doomed" nonsense!

No Caption Provided

Today, Hulk want to talk about a topic that is going on all over the Internet. We all know the Wii U is not a big seller. It sold around 5 or 6 million as of 2014 in over a year, Hulk believe. But the Xbox One and PS4 sold around 4 million in a few months. That's not good. BUT, everyone think Nintendo is going to die because of this. NO THEY'RE NOT! They're not going to go under just because ONE console flops. Whether it'll turn around from Nintendo's 2014 games is debatable at the moment, but Hulk think it's possible. It might help, it might not.

But, even if it doesn't, Nintendo is not going to die just because a single system flops. People are saying because of this, "They should go to tablet and phone gaming." That's a horrible idea. Tablet games are like a dollar. Selling Nintendo games at that price on a tablet WOULD kill them. Is that what you want. Hulk think that's a stupid idea.

Hulk think the only way Wii U will make a comeback is if they start advertising it at the same pace as Xbox One. Xbox One commercials are all over the place. Hulk can't get away from them. Hulk want Wii U commercials to do the same thing. It'll help them get more sales because more people will know about it and what it is.

Overall, while Wii U is flopping, it's not totally impossible for them to turn it around. The 3DS did it, but they need to work harder to make that same miracle happen to the Wii U. Nintendo is not going to go under just because one console flops of theirs. So, from now on, Hulk don't want to see another stupid "Nintendo is dead" article, or HULK SMASH!!!

Do you have a Wii U? Do you like it? If not, do you want one?

Hulk Rants: Pacific Rim not nominated for anything at the Oscars

HULK ANGRY!!!

No Caption Provided

Like that? That's how Hulk's new intro to Hulk Rants will be like. But, more on that later.

Today, Hulk want to talk to you about the Oscars. Why is that Hulk am upset with them? Because Pacific Rim was not nominated for ANYTHING! Not even for best Visual Effects. Why? This happens with so many tentpole summer films. Hulk don't understand why The Oscars typically don't like to put stuff like comic-book movies or giant monsters film on the list. Hulk know Pacific Rim isn't artsy or masterful film that has something to say or anything like that. Hulk know it's not the Godfather, but it's a darn good movie anyway. The Kaiju and robot fights were amazing.

Hulk saw it in IMAX, and normally Hulk usually finish Hulk's popcorn before the end of the film, but there are 2 films Hulk didn't finish them at: The first Transformers and Pacific Rim. That is because Hulk was so mesmerized by the robot and monster fights, Hulk wasn't even thinking about Hulk's popcorn.

It doesn't bother Hulk all that much since Pacific Rim is hopefully nominated for something at other film ceremonies. But, Hulk think it should've been nominated for best Visual Effects.

HOWEVER, if Godzilla isn't nominated for anything at next year's Oscars, THEN we will have a problem.

NOW HULK WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Will you be watching the Oscars? What film that was nominated is your favorite?

Hulk Rants: Fanboys

No Caption Provided

What is up with fanboys? Hulk don't just mean superhero fanboys. Hulk mean fanboys of anything. What's wrong with them you ask? Well, let Hulk explain:

A trailer came out for a reboot of the Powerpuff Girls, set to be released in 2 weeks, they changed nothing regarding the formula for how the show works, they stayed true to the origin, and they seem to have the old voices back. Everyone should be happy, right? WRONG!

People are mad just because they changed the animation and look!

Really? That's what you're upset about? The change of the stinking animation? This is the problem Hulk have with fanboys. They complain over the tiniest changes. Once in a while, it's justified, like the 1998 Godzilla, but most of the time, it's stupid. They don't give things a chance. They just jump to conclusions, and they hate on people who like the changes.

Granted, not all fanboys are like this, but many of them are. It's happened in Ultimate Spiderman when they made Harry Osborn Venom. They were even upset just because Venom had toes instead of boots? That is the stupidest complaint Hulk have ever heard. It's also happened when they made Michaelangelo say "BOOYAKASHA!" instead of "COWABUNGA!" in the 2012 Ninja Turtles show on Nickelodeon, and it's also happened when The Looney Tunes Show was created.

It's not just changes. It's also happening in video games with brand favorites. There's a console war going on between the PS4, Wii U, and Xbox One, and there are insults and hate being spun around just because one favors a different system over the other. Hulk hate this kind of thing.

Why is it they can't give certain changes a chance? And why is it they can't accept people's differing opinions. Hulk don't understand it at all.

BTW, Hulk apologize if Hulk offended you with this rant, but Hulk can't stand the various flame wars going on in the Internet.

Now Hulk want to hear from you!

What is the worst case of fanboyism you've seen or heard of?

Hulk Reviews: Hulk and the agents of SMASH

No Caption Provided

Today, Hulk am reviewing Hulk and the Agents of SMASH. People are complaining and telling Hulk, "Dude, you need to rip this pieces. It's tainting your image". Well, Hulk sat down and watched few episodes and let Hulk tell you something...

Hulk actually kind of like this show. It's flawed, sure, it's still a decent show.

Hulk think this isn't as bad as everyone's making it out to be. The premise of this show is actually quite inventive (five Hulks forming a team to fight the forces of evil that no other superheroes can deal with). That's kind of cool. How is a premise like that not considered cool.

The team consists of Hulk, Red Hulk, She-Hulk, A-Bomb, and Skaar. The voice actors are all pretty good. Fred Tatasicore playing Hulk is a good voice for yours truly. Clancy Brown is actually an excellent Red Hulk and the others, like She-Hulk, Abomb and Skaar are also great.

Hulk think that this show and others in the Marvel Animated line-up are actually pretty darn creative, like Ultimate Spiderman has interesting original storylines. But, Hulk and the Agents of SMASH is best at putting them to good use in Hulk's opinion. Case in point, Gamma Venom from the episode where Hulk fights Venom.

Hulk's only criticism is that there's not enough Hulk villains. Hulk would like to see Abomination show up at some point. You can't do a Hulk show without Abomination appearing at least once.

So, yeah, Hulk think this show is actually the best of the line-up. The premise is inventive, the episodes and the way they handle the villains and heroes are also pretty creative, and the voice acting is great. It's not a masterpiece by any means, but you know what? Kids are going to like it. If you have kids to watch this with, it could make some good family-friendly entertainment. Or if you are a die-hard Hulk fan and want to see something interesting done in the series, you may like this.

Hulk Rants: Pepsi Throwback should be sold everywhere.

Welcome to an exciting new episode of...

No Caption Provided

Today's topic: Pepsi Throwback.

Let Hulk explain for the unaware. In 2009, Pepsi established a new version of Pepsi called Pepsi Throwback. Not only did have the old-school retro look from the 70's and 80's, but it also had real sugar rather than the stuff they use now. It was originally supposed to be for a limited time, but Hulk assume it was so popular that it became permanent. Hulk tried it a few times, it's actually pretty good. But, that leaves Hulk with a puzzling question. Why don't they start selling it everywhere?

No Caption Provided

They do sell Throwback in grocery stores, but that's it. Why don't they sell it at vending machines, little fridges at grocery stores, restaurants, fast food places. Why don't they sell it everywhere? Hulk am confused. It's a popular drink, they should promote it more. It'd make them a lot of money.

Hulk try not to drink soda a lot, but once in a while Hulk will have one or two. But, Hulk do believe that Pepsi Throwback is an excellent product and that it should start being sold in other places than just grocery stores. Hulk would think it's a great idea. Hulk want to see it sold in bowling alley vending machines, fast food restaurants, as part of fountain drink lineups, at movie theaters.

Now, Hulk want to hear from you!

Did you try Pepsi Throwback? Do you like it? Do you think it should be sold in other places?

Hulk Rants: 47 Ronin officially a flop?

No Caption Provided

Apparently, it was officially confirmed 47 Ronin was a flop and is expected to lose $175 million. Personally, Hulk am not really all that shocked by this. Why would take a real life story like 47 Ronin and throw in things that didn't actually exist, like supernatural monsters and stuff. It's kind of insulting to their legacy. Hulk am just not all that surprised.

So, yeah, Hulk have to say, it could possibly top the others in terms how much of a bomb it is. Hulk think it could even be a bigger bomb than The Lone Ranger. If there prediction of how much money they lose indeed happens, Hulk say that anyone who claimed Lone Ranger to be the biggest box office bomb of the year, they have to write apology letters to say, "Hey. We screwed up. We're sorry."

At least The Lone Ranger came CLOSE to making back its budget. It earned $260 million against a $220 million budget. But, this might not. It probably won't do as bad as RIPD, but it won't do great.

NOW HULK WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!!

Are you interested in seeing 47 Ronin?

Hulk's Thoughts: Mobile Suit Gundam game reboot for PS4

Welcome to Hulk's thoughts. Today, Hulk will give an opinion on the upcoming PS4 game, Mobile Suit Gundam (working title).

No Caption Provided

Now, Hulk never really grew up on the Gundam franchise. Hulk thought there were some things Hulk liked about it, like the obvious giant robots, but Hulk don't get too crazy about it. But, this actually has Hulk interested. A PS4 Gundam game where you can presumably play as a giant robot. Count Hulk in. Not much is known. We don't know the release date, what gameplay concepts will be in it, all we know is, it's coming.

Now, here are some things Hulk want to see in it.

1.Open-world Environment

This would get people coming in right away. With the exception of the first 2 Transformers movie games, we had no open-world giant robot games. This would be groundbreaking if they did that. Being able to roam the city, destroy things, fight other robots. It would be fun.

2. The ability to customize your robot

This is a biggie. If you do a giant robot game, you have to be able to customize it. The Armored Core franchise masters this. Hulk would love to make a Mobile Suit Gundam robot modeled after Hulk. Paint it green with purple pants and mount a bazooka on it. That would rock.

3. Good Single Player and fun online

A lot of games nowadays focus more on online than Single Player. That's fine. But, what if you want to play by yourself once in a while, in case you don't want any players standing in the way of your path to glory? Well, they should add a cool single player to support that awesome online multiplayer.

Overall, Hulk think this sounds promising. Hulk just hope it's good.

Now Hulk want to hear from you!

What do you want to see in this new Gundam game? Would you buy it?

CHRISTMAS!!!

Hooray. It's officially Christmas time. This is Hulk's favorite Holiday of all time. Seriously, what's not to love about Christmas? It's a time of giving, receiving, and also spending time with your family and having a feast and opening presents. In only 5 days, Christmas arrives.

There's a lot of stuff Hulk like personally. Hulk love getting presents, giving presents to friends and family, hanging out with said friends and family, having a delicious feast consisting of ham and tons of other foods, and of course. SANTA!!!

Santa Claus is awesome. Yeah, Hulk believe in Santa. DEAL WITH IT!
Santa Claus is awesome. Yeah, Hulk believe in Santa. DEAL WITH IT!

Now some of you have your own personal Christmas traditions you guys do. Hulk will tell you Hulk's first. What Hulk does on Christmas Eve is Hulk goes to the Fantastic Four's house to exchange Christmas presents, and then a few hours later, Hulk goes back to the Heli-Carrier to watch Ron Howard's The Grinch. Hulk goes to bed and then wakes up on Christmas morning to open presents with the other Avengers. We then invite other superheroes over for a big Christmas party a few hours later and feast and hang out for much of the day and that's it.

Yeah, Hulk love Christmas and all the traditions.

Now Hulk want to hear from you!

What do you want for Christmas this year? What are some of your personal Christmas traditions?

Hulk Rants: Is Windows 8 really that bad?

Welcome to another episode of...

No Caption Provided

Today's rant: Windows 8. Hulk don't have much to say on this one, so Hulk will keep this one short.

No Caption Provided

Darn, people are really giving Windows 8 a hard time. What's wrong with it? People are saying, "It absolutely sucks. It's the worst Windows of all time. It's too hard to understand." Well, Hulk think you need to chill out. Hulk don't know what exactly people are complaining about. Hulk am not really a big Windows enthusiast, but Hulk will tell you, Hulk have a Windows 8 laptop, and it's actually pretty cool. You can put stuff on your calendar and you can pin places you like on a map app, which is Hulk's favorite personally.

One of the most common criticisms is that it's too hard to use. Well, it's called, "learning". Hulk think that you need to calm down, check out some of the apps and take the time to know them, understand them and over time, you might grow to like it. Hulk think that people just don't like change.

However, Hulk will be fair and agree with you on certain things. Hulk don't like that they make you have to log into a Microsoft account to use certain things, but not many in Hulk's catalog require it.

Again, Hulk think people just don't like change.

Now Hulk want to hear from you?

Do you have a Windows 8 computer? Do you like it? Why or why not?

Hulk's Top 5: Cult sci-fi films that BADLY need a remake.

With Godzilla getting a remake next year, Hulk have taken this opprotunity into thinking. What other classics that sci-fi like should get a remake next? Hulk am counting down the top 5 sci-fi/monster movies Hulk feel need a remake or reboot. Hulk am sure this was done before, but consider it an update.

1. War of the Gargantuas

No Caption Provided

Hulk have never heard of this one, but apparently it's a classic among Kaiju fans. Apparently, it's about 2 humanoid being that tear each other apart while destroying things in the process. Hulk see where this could have potential for a remake. A lot of people want it really. 2 monsters fighting in a big-budget movie? Hulk would be first in line.

2. Gamera

No Caption Provided

If you're a Kaiju fan, Gamera needs no introduction. But, the thing is, not many people know who he is. And those who do know who he is think he's a part of the Godzilla franchise. Well, Hulk think that a big budget remake of the giant flying turtle would introduce him to more mainstream audiences. Get him some wider recognition, you know.

3. Power Rangers

No Caption Provided

Oh yeah, this isn't a movie, but it is in SERIOUS need of a big-budget reboot. The Power Rangers aren't as popular as they used to be, so a theatrical remake of the original show could help a bit. Hulk was never really a fan of Power Rangers, but Hulk have respect for franchises like this that grow such followings.

4. Ultraman

No Caption Provided

Yeah, Ultraman. Even people who aren't Kaiju fans seem to know him. The character is pretty much Japan's Superman really. How could a big-budget American remake not help popularity of him grow here in America. Again, Hulk never really grew up on Ultraman, but Hulk knew enough about him. A giant man fights monsters to protect the world.

5. Attack of the 50 Foot Woman

No Caption Provided

Oh yeah, this one's a biggie. The story of a woman turned into a giant monster. But, the thing is, she's never really had a true remake like Godzilla or King Kong. There was a TV movie, but it wasn't all that successful. Would a big-budget version of this story really work with mainstreamers? Hulk don't know.

NOW HULK WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Did Hulk make the right choices for this list? If not, what sci-fi classic would you want remade, if any?
