Really? Is this even a question? Hate to break it to you Viners, but this competition was over before it even began.

1.) Yeah, totally feel ya on this one. Seems like an awkward moment shared by the two would at least be warranted. As far as fan-explanations go, my reading-in-between-the-lines handbook says that Rachel might find the situation to traumatic and strange for both of them emotionally and psychically to be terribly healthy for either of them. But that's all I got as far as anything resembling solid logic.

2.) Again, agreed. Understand that poor Wolvy may be friend-zoned, but they clearly care about each other deeply, known each other forever, have remained friends despite their differences, and clearly don't mind hooking up on occasion. All the right ingredients seem to be there. Of course, Storm's track record with relationships is nothing short of abysmal, so I suppose we can give the gal some credit for not pursuing things further.

3.) Honestly, I think too much time has passed for newer readers to really appreciate a Ms. Marvel/Rogue dynamic. Plus, they have already hashed out a lot of that before (in the now iconic Contest of Champions II #5; we all remember that...right?). Also, with Rogue no longer having Ms. Marvel's power set and being way more in control of her abilities, a lot of the potential tension is sorta gone. And Carol's solo series provides the character with enough angst as is, so I don't see Uncanny Avengers operating at a loss without her. Still would be nice to see Ms. Danvers in the series, though.

4.) Sure. Why not?

5.) I don't think Lifeguard has enough of a fanbase to bring her to the forefront of any book, if we're being honest.

I think since Hulk's strength mainly lies in anger, he's a shoe-in for the Red Lantern Corp. Though, if you really want to flesh it out...

Hulk - Red Lanterns: because 'breath-taking anger management issues.'

Red Hulk - Yellow Lantern: Ross's fear of the Hulk is what drove him to become Rulk in the first place.

She-Hulk - Green Lantern: Shulkie is one determined chick, not to mention courageous.

Abomination - Orange Lantern: Power hungry is close enough to greed.

Red-She Hulk - Violet Lantern: Betty Ross's love has been a large part of her character arc's before, so why not?

A-bomb -Blue Lantern: Who's more hopeful in the Hulk Universe than Rick Jones?

Leader - Indigo Lantern: He's due a certain amount of redemption, whether you like the Red or Green Leader variety, and it would seem fitting.

Caiera - Black Lantern: She's got enough tie's to Hulk to throw his world in upheaval by suddenly returning. And because dead.

Yeah, I love the hated and feared School for Gifted Youngsters alumni, but that Avengers line-up is way too stacked for the X-men to have much of a chance.

Assuming you're referencing the movie. With that supposition in mind, my reaction on the film landed squarely on "meh." While the film definitely nailed the tone of Peter Parker and Spidey related action better than the original trilogy (though I bequeath massive props to the Doc Ock/Spiderman fight sequences from Spidey 2), the overall fidelity to the source material was...well, underwhelming.

Peter Parker's secret identity wasn't very secret, Peter seemed only loosely connected to Uncle Ben's killer as opposed to his comic book origin, and trumping up Peter's parents' role in the mythos was largely unnecessary. I love Peter's near brushes with his being caught as Spiderman and I always loved that Pete's folks weren't a major contributing factor to his overall development. Amazing Spiderman kind of unintentionally turns Uncle Ben from pivotal character in Peter's life to merely another casualty in the ongoing tragedy of Peter's role models.

Plus, the movie had some simply inexcusable execution dilemmas. I wish high school relationships were as easy to breeze through as Peter and Gwen's. From awkward creepy guy to smooth operator in, what, two scenes? Not to mention that Midtown High must be a hotbed of 'roids for the general population to think Puny Parker bending goal posts with a hail mary pass or dunking from half court qualifies for the norm.

Is it a better film than the previous trilogy where Spiderman's most notable super-power was crying at the drop of a hat? Absolutely. Was a good superhero movie overall? To echo a lot of the Man of Steel reviews...it's a fun movie, but it's not the Spiderman movie.

Bit of a fanboygasm, but it's been a long, LONG time since there's been a Spidey Universe this enjoyable.

All the titles seem to have really pinned down the characters voice and are generating wonderful series specific momentum. It doesn't hurt that Slott and Yost are killing it every month (IMO).

I know there's some obvious surface damage--like all the main characters having a dark background and dealing with their inner demons, etc etc--but I'm even digging Dr. Spiderpus more than I thought I would.

Between the books and their creative teams, I feel it's pretty hard to miss if you pick any of the Spideyverse books off the shelf.

Agree/disagree? Any and all thoughts welcome.

I was a fan of the Noir titles, though only Cage and parts of the first X-men Noir books actually capitalized on the genre motifs.

Still, I really enjoyed Iron Man and Spider-man Noir as well. Both seemed to hearken back to Marvel's pulp-scifi roots.
