SL&I is arguably what McStorm Industries is most known for. They've made leaping advances in the realm of technology, being one of the few to incorporate quantum level technology within their products. The difference between regular computers and quantum computers at a basic level is that digital computers require data to be encoded into bits, each of which is always in one of two definite states, 0 or 1, quantum computation use qubits( quantum bits) which can be in superpositions of states of 0 and 1 at the same time. Two qubits can be in any quantum superposition of 4 states, three qubits in any superposition of 8 states and so forth. These quantum computers are capable of solving problems much more efficiently and faster than standard ones. Most of these go to American Government agencies, though civilians can purchase them they are extremely expensive. They are also known as being one of the leading computer software creators.

⚡ SL&I Electron

In 1983, Daniel McStorm ( who was the owner of McStorm industries at the time) noticed how no one was really in the computer software market, and decided to take the opportunity to make his company known as the leading competitor during a time where computers as we know them today were relatively new. McStorm industries' main subsidiary then created the Electron line of computers and operating systems. At first it was rather tedious to work with, taking a long time to load and possessing only a few capabilities such as a calculator. However their latest release of Electron 13.2 is a stark contrast to the basic computing system of the 80's.

Electron OS features a simplistic and sleek design, and most products have a touch screen capability. It has a voice-operated control system, enabling the user to navigate the computer without touching a button. They are known for their broad variety of built-in applications, which number in the hundreds. It is also compatible with almost all major applications, and Electron Computers are known for their exceptionally high built-in RAM. Their lowest price computers feature 25 GB's of RAM, while their more expensive versions can have up to 61 GBs, this has led to many PC gamers favoring the computer.

Their brand of laptops are also known for their astronomical durability and resistances. Their latest product has demonstrated the ability to survive a 10 story drop, survive underwater for extended periods of time and extreme temperatures (Up to 425 degrees F/218.3 C). This toughness has enabled it to be also bought frequently by parents for their children. Another facet is that the more expensive Electron laptops don't require conventional chargers; All one must do is have it in a room where there is light. Freshly bought models have shown the ability to last roughly 7 months without receiving energy before needing to re-charge. In truth, many models are energized by the speed-force, an extra-dimensional plane of energy.

Beyond this, they also have a 24 help and support system with trained professionals ready to assist users, and in the last five years have created their own browser of the same name.

⚡ SL&I Kinetic

As of 2016, SL&I have created a smartphone device capable of projecting holographic images. This technology is readily available in their work-space in an effort to make working easier, and they have finally incorporated it into their products. While it is unknown just how they've accomplished this, their new phone is capable of displaying an image of whomever someone is talking to, if the being on the other-end consents. This holographic screen can appear by voice-command, and can be used to navigate the phone instead of the actual screen.

While this phone is incredible durable, curiously enough one of their older models, the Kinetic 3000 is a target comedy for being virtually indestructible. Seemingly nothing short of a blow from a superhuman has been shown to dent it.
