Man of Steel isn't based on the new 52. Even the Nolan universe was different. If you want to watch a movie that uses the same universe, there's the animated movies. You'll like them.

@edblank : People need to remember that it is not the New or Pre 52. It is a totaly different universe with it's own set of characters and powers. If you don't like it, don't watch it.
