Short bio:
In 1944, a group of Nazi occultists lead by Obersturmbannführer Karl Ruprecht Kroenen and Russian mystic Grigori Rasputin, built an interdimensional portal device off the coast of Scotland with the intent of freeing the Ogdru Jahad - the Seven Gods of Chaos - in the hopes that it would win the world war for them. They were intercepted by an American army team guided by paranormal expert Professor Trevor Bruttenholm (pronounced "Broom") before the ritual was completed. However, an infant demon was summoned forth through the portal before its destruction. The infant was given the name "Hellboy" by the team, and was adopted as a son by Prof. Bruttenholm. Sixty years later, Hellboy is an agent of the BPRD - the FBI's Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense, whose purpose is investigating and protecting the world from occult and paranormal dangers. In his missions and exploits, Hellboy has encountered and defeated all manners of abnormalities and monsters, and was shaped into a very formidable combatant. His true name is Anung un Rama, Son of the Fallen One.
The two movies were directed by Guillermo del Toro, and Hellboy was portrayed by the actor Ron Perlman. The movies are based on comics by the author Mike Mignola.
Strength:
Hellboy's strength is superhuman and easily into the several-tons category, both in striking and in raw (lifting) strength.
Striking:
A very casual punch from Hellboy can stop a speeding car and send it flying several meters up in the air:
Breaks down a brick wall:
Punches a hole in a concrete pillar:
Punches a huge hole in a meter-thick concrete wall (off-screen):
Punches his way through a very thick stone floor:
Punches a troll (don't let her vile sorcery fool you, it wasn't an old lady, it was a troll in disguise) around 50-60 meters away:

Hellboy's durability to various types of damage varies, but he is extremely durable in general.
Blunt force:
Here Hellboy gets repeatedly slammed into marble floor by Sammael hard enough to create huge holes in it, then thrown across an entire room while going through several museum display boxes and out the window, and falling from a 4th/5th story window, and he's completely fine and gets back up immediately:
Gets up immediately after having his head repeatedly run over by a train:
Survives a huge drop while trading punches with Sammael, then gets punched over a large distance and shakes it all off with no visible damage:
Here Sammael throws Hellboy into a concrete wall hard enough to break a large hole in it, and Hellboy is perfectly fine after that:
Survives this with minimal injury:
Gets up seconds after a several-story fall (at high velocity, after being blasted by Liz Sherman):
Sharp/piercing damage:
With his Right Hand of Doom, he blocks Kroenen's blades without taking any damage:

Sets off an entire belt of Vulcan-65 grenades (they aren't standard gear) inside the Ogdru Jahad's belly and shakes it off with minimal damage (I'm not entirely sure if it's 100% energy-based damage but it's very impressive nevertheless):
He is 100% fireproof:
Takes a powerful explosion from Liz Sherman:
Shakes off a blast from Liz that's powerful enough to blow down an armored steel door and a thick concrete wall like it was nothing:

Hellboy isn't exactly a speedster but he definitely has some good feats.

As an infant, aim-dodges gunfire at point blank:
Dodges Sammael's strike and then dodges a speeding train:
Catches Sammael's tongue from close range with his back half-turned:
Outraces a collapsing bridge and goes all Indiana Jones by sliding under a closing gate:

Skill:
Hellboy is a very skilled fighter. He has skill with a sword as well as unarmed skill.
Counters Sammael's punch with an arm lock and breaks Sammael's arm:
Uses a sword to fight off the Ogdru Jahad. He severs many of the Ogdru Jahad's tentacles but eventually gets overwhelmed:
Performs a nice counter against Wink:
Takes down Wink:
While Hellboy is heavily drunk and seriously holding back, he keeps up with Prince Nuada for a while (but loses eventually):
Uses a severed arm from a Golden Army automation to fight the Golden Army:
Puts Prince Nuada on the defensive in their rematch:
Gear:
Hellboy's main weapon (other than his fists) is the Good Samaritan - his huge gun. Other than that, he carries all sorts of other supernatural trinkets.

Can destroy Golden Army automations:
All-purpose anti-monster ammo - contains holy water, clove leaf, silver shavings, white oak and possibly more ingredients. Hellboy made them himself:
Light-stick ammo - creates a luminous trail that can be easily followed:
Accuracy - can hit 2 Tooth Fairies in mid-air with one shot:
Shoots 2 accurate bullets at Wink's metal fist, and it packed enough force to stagger him back:
Hellboy can reload it in under 2 seconds:
Misc:
Light sticks:
A bone from St. Dionysius. Its purpose is not 100% clear but it seems like it's supposed to keep monsters away (Sammael didn't do near Abe as long as Abe had it on him but attacked once Abe dropped it):
A compass that can locate corpses that can be reanimated (its purpose is unclear but this is the best impression it gives away):
An amulet that can wake the dead (it's implied that it works only on specific dead bodies though):
"Big Baby" - a giant revolver that fires huge bullets:
