The Master Killer

The Master Stared up at Jack.   "What happened?" he asked.  So The Master told him.  When he was done, he was loosing breath, and said,  "And Savage will kill them, and I left them, and-"  Jack cut him short.   "I will help you."  He said.  "I won't defeat Savage.  But I will give you the power to do so." he paused.  "After Silas died, you unleashed a huge amount of power.  Dr. Strange put a mental block on you so that you wouldn't destroy yourself and the world.  But he sensed that I had great magical potential.  So, he gave me the means to unlock it.  So I shall do so."  He stood, and began to mutter.  After he finished, The Master began to glow.  "What happened," he gasped.  Then the light covered him.

The Master walked down to where the crowd had been.  The small table with a pack of cards was still their, with a young teenager standing beside it.  The Master was about to walk over to him when something grabbed him from behind.  "What the he-" he spoke before he was forced to the ground.  A human figure stood above him, but it was featurless.  Completely black.  It rose it's hand, revealing claws.  It slashed his face.  It then reached for his throat, and began to choke him.  The Master thought, for the first time in many years, I'm going to die.  He could feel it coming.  suddenly, there was a sudden burst of white light.  Then, he blacked out.

One Hour Later

The Master was angered.  His teammates were fools.  And he knew what would happen soon.  "Listen to me, you idiots.  Something bad is going to happen.  And I'll tell you what.  We will be attacked by a teammate.  TheSavageAssassin. to be exact."  His team ignored him, walking down the hall.  "LISTEN!!!!" he bellowed.  "Chaos Theory points to the fact that Savage will attack us.  But, somehow I knew you wouldn't listen.  So, you know what?  Skrew it, this cape and cowl game is for loosers."  With that, he removed his mask and dropped it on the ground.  He then walked away, with only one message: "F@ck you idiots, I quit."

The Master was angered by Sir Knights's reply.  As he turned, speaking to Mortality, the Master watched him, angered.  When he turned the Master grabbed his shoulder and in a quick motion slammed his palm into Sir Knight's face, slamming him to the ground.  Hmmm.  He's the head of Foreign Ops.  He should understand a little Dutch.  Quickly, he began to speak to him.  Luister, u dwaas. Wij zijn hier in slechte vlek. U bent een dwaas om me orden te geven of raad. En ik weet u en bang ook wordt geïrriteerdt. "En geef me nooit advies opnieuw, of ik zal u op tijd opsluiten, gedwongen om opnieuw en opnieuw zijn ontsproten."   Listen, you fool.  We are in bad spot here.  You are a fool to give me orders or advice.  And I know you are angered and afraid too.  And never give me advice again, or I will trap you in time, forced to be shot again and again.

Mortality grabbed the Master by the throat and slammed him into the wall, hissing "You will treat me with respect." He then dropped him, and the Master fell to the ground, gasping.  He began to think rapidly.  Mortality has been having a problem too.  He seemed nervous, very unlike him.  He stood,and prepared to speak.  "No offense "sir" but none of us singed up for this.  I thought we were just coming to get Loony Bin Jim, but there is something going on, something that none of us can explain.  Are you going to lead us blindly through here?"

The Master charged through the hallways.  I need a plan.  And I don't think that could have been Silas, now that I think about it.  Silas would have killed me straight away, he was never a gloater.  But I need to get back to the team.  He then ran through the area, removing his miniature computer.  Okay, I have this thing hooked up to the security cameras, so I should be able to... Ah Ha!!!!  He had seen Bloodstorm and Mortality.  Okay, now.... all I need to do is get there.....  he continued to run.  As soon as he got there, he approached Mortality.  "What the hell have you gotten us into, dumb@$$?"

The Master stared in shock.  "Silas...." he whispered.  "I killed you.  You can't be back.  I made sure you wouldn't...."   His brother smiled.  "Clearly you didn't do it very well."    The Master thought quickly, trying to come up with a plan.   Silas was always a tactical genius, he thought.  I have to keep him talking.  "How did you survive?"   Silas smirked.  "A bid for freedom?  Trying to keep me talking?  Though you deserve to know....."  He then began.  "When you fought me all those years ago, you thought I had been killed.  But I had help.   Someone helped me."  He paused.  "I don't know what happened before I returned to the living.  There was a span when I was..... more then ghost, but not human either......"   The Master listened to this.  He seems troubled.  Silas continued.  "A year ago, I was let loose.   I began to make a plan.  With the help of some friends, I opened this portal.  Last week, I opened it.  And waited.  And now, you have arrived."  "So you've waited for me here?  And now you've got your revenge?"    "Yes...."    " Well... I hate to do this, but I have some work to do."    He spit out his tooth into his brothers face and ripped his arms out of the chains.  He leaped and flew through the open portal and rolled out into the asylam.  He removed his comunicator and yelled into it, "Mortality!  I'm free, but Silas will follow me!!!  Get me the f@ck out of here!

The Master awoke.  What's going on?  he thought.  He tried to move, but found that he was chained to a wall.  Where am I?  He thought.  He looked around.  Suddenly, something came out of the darkness, and it hit him in the head.  He fell unconsious again.  

Three Hours Later

As the Master sat in the control room, he was glancing around nervously.  What's going on? he thought.  He began to type at one of the computers.  Damn.  Password...... he tried "muffink."  Well, that was lucky, he thought.  He had logged in.  Intercom..... ah, there it is.    He activated the camera, and found Mortality.  "Mortality?" he said through the intercom.  "I'm in the main control room.  I'm going to shut down all of the others."  he was about to continue when he saw something odd on the screen.  He clicked on it.  "Oh my god...." he whispered.  He grabbed the intercom and said, "Guys!!  This is really important.  You have to-"  something had grabbed him by the back of the head.  A sudden hit to the head gave him a concussion, and he fell to the ground, unconscious.
