The Ghost Writer

It looks as though she's spent several months hopping across the galaxy, gaining an impressive criminal record, and becoming a wanted fugitive in several star systems, including those run by the Badoon, Kree, and Shi'ar empires. She was recently apprehended by S.W.O.R.D., outright refused a pardon back on earth, and was promptly abducted by Arcade right in the middle of her interrogation session with Abigail Brand herself. Like a number of teenage superheroes, she's currently fighting for her life in the Hunger Games- I MEAN, the Avengers Arena series. (lol :P)

... Huh, interesting. The only show from the "Marvel Anime" line that I really, thoroughly enjoyed was the X-Men one, but this looks intriguing. Think I'll keep an eye on this one.

Sorry it's a year late BG, but I posted some new pics in the gallery from Guarding the Globe Vol. 2, specifically, pics of our favorite brawling babe (lol :P). I wanted to make it so that the one labeled "The Gloves are On!" would be the new page image for her profile, but I can'd make it work for some reason. Oh well, in the mean time, at least we have more pics of Knockout :D.

@The Mighty Monarch: I hear that :D. It takes a special kind of writer to get someone like the Joker just right, and the proper artwork doesn't hurt either. From the looks of things, this arc is going to be spectacular!

I can't wait for this arc, it just sounds so incredibly great. I read all of Joker's lines aloud as I read this, and let me tell you, I had chills! Completely and utterly creepy as Heck! But at the same time, just brilliant. The Harlequin of Hate is back, boys and girls, and he's looking to paint the town red for his "Coming Home" Party :D!

'Great, an immortal,' Writer sighed both mentally and physically, powering down his Shinigami Eyes, having seen what he needed of the shooter. He knew the notebook wouldn't work on this guy, and it looked as if he'd found who he was looking for. As long as they didn't drag him into it, it wasn't his problem.

Another sip of his drink and he was back to people-watching.

(Gotta log off for now, sorry if I'm breaking character/the RP by typing this, first time actually taking part on the forums.)

Writer's head immediately snapped in the direction of the shooter, hand immediately flying to the pocket of his trenchcoat where his pen and notebook were. His eyes glowed a faint red as he activated his Shinigami abilities. Still, he hesitated for a moment. This place was likely to have security to deal with this sort of thing, even if most of the patrons here were metas like himself.

'Let's just see what he does,' he thought silently, ready to go intangible in case of a firefight.

Writer was half-way through his glass, still not feeling it. Boredom started to creep into his being, so he decided to do some people-watching. Loners was a lively joint, that was for sure.

The Writer pulled of his mask and ran a hand through his messy hair, his face finally able to breathe. He'd remembered to wear a domino mask underneath, so unmasking like this wasn't a big deal. Besides, the blasted thing was starting to itch.

"Much better." Now he could enjoy his drink comfortably.
