Also, going by the idea that Odin was what held Hela back and the fact that he was effortlessly able to deport Thor, I’d say he scales above them by a good margin. Still firmly believe Thor and Hela solo.

Thor and Hela solo. The Eternals do NOT have the feats to suggest they could put Thor, let alone Hela, down.

@phisigmatau: I’d disagree. As per Ragnarok they made his superiority to Hulk pretty clear.

Thanos clowned him in Endgame sure, but that was Thor far and out of shape, blinded by bloodlust.

One problem I will give you in they make their characters (Thor ESPECIALLY) fight with PIS. Like take his EG fight with Thanos, he didn’t summon lightning once against Thanos which is very uncharacteristic. Nor did he even try and summon Mjionir.

Hell they had Captain America who had NEVER used Thor’s powers before, use them more effectively then Thor. Like what

@rajjarsalt: Thor weren’t shown to harness energy in a way she could use, just effective at blocking energy. That that using energy you stole from an energy battery, to use against an energy battery, makes any sense to begin with.

It just goes to show that all producer/director statements have to be taken with a grain of salt (being there actual feats). I think his main point is she’s meant to be powerful enough to contend with someone like CM, even if her power set makes it unrealistic.

@geekryan: Ya not happening with that argument. You proved my point, that feat has NOTHING to do with Thanos swords durability.

Next

Thor destroyed the Aether with his lightning before it reformed, and helped melt Vibraium Ultron with said lightning, Ultron was under Vision, Iron Man and Thor’s beams for a much shorter time then SB was the neutron star beam to melt. So unless of course your claiming the trios power >> the neutron star, it’s another point of proof that SB >> Vibranium.

Next

On wow another feat for SBs durability, Thanos was able to casually block a distressed Wandas chaos magic without 6 stones, too bad he wasn’t able to block Stormbreaker with 6.

You proved nothing. So again, if I’m going to concede, imma need a little more 🥱

@phisigmatau: That’s ABC logic and not good ABC logic either.

Thor almost killed (directors confirm would have killed if he didn’t want to gloat) Thanos with 6 gems. Hulk got a mini blitze off on a Thanos with one gem, and did no damage. Context is crazy important and it’s crazy your acting like it doesn’t exist.

Thor is shown to be superior to Hulk in feats and more recent fights, even without a hammer. There literally is no question about that. Hell before PIS kicked it he was literally out matching Hulk even before he went God mode in Ragnarok.

Go to an IW Thor vs Hulk thread and see how that turns out. If that’s your argument about inconsistency then I stand by my statement.

@stormking1221: said: Wanda/Strange are the most powerful but would lose to CM/Thor (the runner ups), because the former two are glass cannons.

Exactly this.

@aystarr: Uh what. What does Thanos being stronger then Thor and overpowering him with SB have anything to do with SB’s durability?

If someone can actually show me Wanda destroying something as durable as SB then I’ll concede.

Also lmfao at her scaling past a neutron star. Wandawank at its finest.

Back in topic though she might not have the raw power to destroy it but she should be able to do some hazy shit to transform it or something given time.

@heiqn: lmao link to the 100KT calc? There’s literally no way when Stormbreaker scales to Mjionir at the very least, and Mjionir has tanked explosions far above 100 KT like the Sokovia explosion.

@phisigmatau: Inconsistent how? Thor’s actually pretty consistent all things considered.

OT: I feel like every time I read the script, then watch the scene, it seems like the writers intended for him to be more powerful then the visual effect artists/ fight choreographers portray. Idk if that budgeting/needing more realism or what.
