@deathhero61: Looks great man. I'll get on this Sunday (when I get home).
The-Seeffiss17's forum posts
Alright my friend, let's get this tourney started!
J'onn J'onzz - The Martian Manhunter
"In 1955, an Earth scientist named Dr. Saul Erdel., while experimenting with alien (possibly Martian) technology in secret, accidentally pulled J'onzz from Mars to Earth. This sudden revelation of a seven foot tall alien caused Dr. Erdel such a shock that his heart gave out, leaving J'onn stranded on a foreign planet with malfunctioning teleportation technology, and no easy way home.
J'onzz resolved to use his time on Earth to help others, upholding truth and justice as he had done on Mars for so many years. He has taken many forms and played many roles over the years: detective, spy, superhero, diplomat, corporate head; J'onn always uses his vast powers and abilities to protect the weak and serve the common good, as the Manhunter from Mars."

Like all Martians, JJ is a swiss army knife of a hero. Imagine all of the god-like powers of Superman, and then add a multitude of "hax" abilities, and you've got MMH. These powers include, but aren't necessarily limited to, the following:
- Well over class 100 strength
- FTL travel and combative speed
- Enhanced durability
- Cellular healing
- Intangibility/ phasing
- Heat Vision
- Pionic energy projection
That's quite the array of powers if you ask me.
Firestorm - The Nuclear Man
"The first Firestorm was an amalgam of two people student Ronnie Raymond and Martin Stein.
Ronnie Raymond was new at his high school, he was a football and basketball player and just wanted to fit in. Ronnie tried to impress a girl named Doreen Day. He finally caught the attention of Doreen, only for a jerk named Cliff Carmichael to decide Ronnie was his rival. Cliff made Ronnie look like an idiot so he had to find a way to redeem himself, and impress Doreen. In order to achieve this task Raymond joined an anti-nuclear activist group led by Eddie Earhart. (Later it was noted that Earhart was using this group as a cover up for his criminal activities) Ronnie tried to stop them when their protests turned violent. The group wanted to blow up an experimental nuclear power facility that had been designed by Martin Stein. Unfortunately for Stein his former assistant Danton Black (later known as Multiplex) who he had fired after he claimed that he was the one who created the plant, and Stein stole his credit rigged the plant to explode. The Anti-Nuclear Activist group knocked Stein unconscious, and tied up Ronnie Raymond, thus leaving them both to die. Earhart told Raymond, that he would pin the explosion upon his head as he was planning to blow the facility up as well. The explosion then breached the nuclear reactor, and caused the atomic blast.
The explosion that followed fused them into one being. Ronnie being the one who physically controlled the body as he was the only one conscious during the blast, and Prof. Stein acting as a voice in the back of his mind. (usually portrayed as a disembodied head) Ronnie then realized that the explosion had given him extraordinary abilities. He had flaming hair, could shoot "fusion blasts" from his hands, phase through solid objects, and re-arrange atomic matter. They adopted the moniker Firestorm, and set out to be a hero."

Firestorm is very similar to the Martian in the way that he is incredibly versatile. However, he is somewhat lacking in his physical strength. Though I would say he more than makes up for it with his even more expansive set of "hax" powers.
- Increase strength and speed
- Transmutation / molecule manipulation
- Size Shifting
- Temperature Control
- Energy control
Before I move on I want those reading to know my perks are The rest of my post wouldn't make sense without that information. :)
So as you may know (or have found out from reading my provided Bio), Firestorm is essentially a composite being. Beings get absorbed into the Firestorm Matrix, and the attributes of both absorbed are carried over into the final product. Meaning Firestorm can absorb anyone that is willing to merge with him, and the product has the abilities of both. This has been demonstrated numerous times in Firestorm's history. For example: When Jason Rusch and Ronnie Raymond merged to become an ultimate version of Firestorm called Furry. When Firestorm absorbed his girlfriend Gehenna and gained her powers of teleportation. Or even when Firestorm absorbed Firehawk against his will.
That said, during my prep, Martian Manhunter and Firestorm are going to amalgamate into a single being. This composite character (Fernus Storm... Cool name eh?) will, of course, have both MMH and Firestorm's powers.
Long story short, instead of fighting two strong herald tiers, your going to be facing one of the most powerful characters I could possibly come up with, short of sky father tier.
Another rather unique ability Firestorm possesses is some decent precognitive senses.
He'll use these senses to have a decent understanding of what we're going to be going up against beforehand.
BTW, this nullifies your perk of Senzu beans. Because we will know about them coming into the fight, and so with a quick thought we can immediately transmute the beans.
3. Going Intagibile and Invisible
Exactly as the title says. Fernus Storm will go invisible and intangible.
4. Prepping the battlefield
This hour of prep-time takes place on the battlefield, meaning that I get to manipulate the terrain however I wish.
The temperature of the battlefield is going to be absolute zero. A temperature at which molecules cannot move. The coldest possible temperature.
Then my 500 Ultron Bots are going to be transmuted into Pentaerythritol tetranitrate. Which is the material used in the warhead of the most powerful bomb ever set off. Essentially your team is going to be surrounded by 250,000lbs (approx.) of a material more powerful than TNT per pound.
Attacking Your Team
Once this battle begins (assuming your team can survive a nuclear holocaust, poisonous gas, and, worst of all, absolute zero, which is HIGHLY doubtful) then Fernus Storm is going to blitz you while completely invisible and intangible.
From here we can do any of the following to achieve a quick and easy victory.
- Phase killing.
- Transmutation killing.
- High powered energy attacks.
- A good old fashion beatdown, from a Superman+ level physical combatant that you can't even see.
And of course we'll debate these points as the debate continues.
Alright man @deathhero61. That's gonna be opening post. Over to you. (BTW I may edit this for grammatical or formatting mistakes later. But the bulk of the information should remain the same.)
@emperorthanos Looks fantastic.
@deathhero61 I'll try and get on this as soon as I can, but I life is going to be kinda crazy this upcoming week.
BTW: Which Buu do you have? Fat Buu, Super Buu, Kid Buu, or composite between all 3? And if you have a compositization then which personality of the three Buu's are being applied here? Cause they are all drastically different.
@emperorthanos: My team is going to be Pre-52 MMH (7) and Firestorm (5).
Perks: +5points (5), 1 hour prep (1), no morals (8), and I'll come up with a way to spend that last point later.
