Artists I Like

This is a list of artists I'm a fan of.  Some of the guys that help bring the characters that I luv to life.  There are more names on this list than writers, but I hope to be a future writer, so that list actually means more to me.  And of course there are more names to come.  Thanks for looking.

List items

  • Jim Lee...nuff said. Well maybe not, cuz I'll say more lol. I grew up on his art and have always loved it. I plan to get the rest of his X-Men #1 covers signed by him and have them framed together side-by-side. Without a doubt, he is my favorite all-time artist.

  • My number 2 guy easily. I absolutely luv his work, I have the t-shirt with his cover to Amazing Spider-Man #555 with Spidey and Wolverine, it's awesome. His cover to X-Men #200 and Ramos' cover put side-by-side will be one of my fav images of all-time.

  • Absolutely amazing artist, beautiful stuff. R.I.P.

  • I first came across his work for a Spider-Man poster I bought a few years ago, which was the cover from Spectacular Spider-Man #17, but this was before i actually knew who he was. I have it up right now. His cover to x-men #200 and Bachalo's cover put side-by-side will be one of my fav images of all-time.

  • I will never forget what he did for the X-Men. He co-created some of my fav characters and made previously existing characters look even better. R.I.P.

  • Met him and his wife at C2E2, got several books signed. I hope to run into them again, got some more Uncanny X-Men I want them to sign.

  • He does great work for DC. His work on Superman/Batman is awesome, and the way they used it for the Public Enemies dvd was slick. Not a huge fan of his Marvel work tho.

  • Found his work online first, then started seeing it more in books. I wish he would do more work on a regular basis. He's done great work on Birds of Prey, Justice League of America, amongst other things.

  • His work on X-Men was absolutely amazing, also Invincible Iron Man.

  • I really like his Amazing Spider-Man stuff among other things. Got some books signed by him at WWC/CCC '09 and C2E2. Some nice covers on the current Black Panther series too. I'd like to see some more interior stuff tho.

  • Another guy from my youth, his Uncanny X-Men #304 was one of the earliest issues I remember having as a kid. He did some great stuff during his previous run on Uncanny X-Men. From there, it was Amazing Spider-man, Avengers, Black Panther, Daredevil, Kick-Ass, Thor, and Wolverine.

  • Did some nice work on Amazing Spider-Man and on various Avengers titles (New, Dark, Secret).

  • Think I first came across his work on Ultimate X-Men or Avengers, whichever came first. Then on the regular X-titles. Also he has worked on Moon Knight.

  • I grew up with the Kubert brothers on Uncanny X-Men and X-Men. His Action Comics run, The Last Son, was the first set of Superman books I've purchased. Met both Kubert brothers at C2E2. He's also worked on Ultimate X-Men and Wolverine.

  • I grew up with the Kubert brothers on X-Men and Uncanny X-Men. After jumping onto Batman a couple years ago, I back issue hunted the series starting with his run. I also dig his Thor and Captain America work.
