@greysentinel365: @therevenant:

This is Ghaul in the pictured form aka he has the Light, but he's not the massive Light form in Radiance where he got smacked by the Traveler in the cutscene. Just his gameplay form. What if Malgus abuses TK on him or holds him in place?

Malgus as of his latest incarnation in today's trailer faces off against Ghaul in the Jedi temple room, with Ghaul already absorbing his Light-based powers through the wellspring on the Immortal before teleporting there via the Vex network. Each combatant starts off 10 meters apart and have access to their gear, with no troops or reinforcements. Which combatant emerges victorious?

@law1602: Space magic is within the arsenal of both combatants in this scenario. Constraint fields/Light. Elaboration on this? Especially Ghaul's much larger size and double levitation abilities (Light's levitation ability and jetpack).

R1: 1v1 (Standard equipment

Well considering Escharum isn't in the Banished stronghold, wouldn't it mean no shields since they rely on some shield generators within the stronghold? Without the stronghold and the shield generators it contains Escharum has no shields. Ghaul wins handily and also has the mobility advantage thanks to his jetpack.

R2: Both have their respective troops of various ranks (Ghaul has his light powers)

Ghaul stomps with his light powers. Additional flight (no need for a jetpack as we've seen guardians float without one and Ghaul doesn't use his jetpack exhaust in the gameplay when he uses the Light's powers). Exploding swords, electric hadoukens, and nova bombs are overkill. Plus his aforementioned levitation thanks to the Light he absorbed doubles as a flight mechanism in addition to the jetpack.

R3: Ghaul and Thumos vs Escharum and Atriox

Still Ghaul. Thumos also has the jetpack and explosives from his slug rifle which can take out the brutes and keep distance. The two brutes in question cannot fly and gravity-pulling either Cabal into melee range can risk being stabbed by Thumos' Void vibroblade or Ghaul's Dawnblade. And Ghaul being over 4 meters tall evens out the melee disadvantage as the brutes have hammers. Gameplay wise he towers almost twice as tall as the average Cabal (2.5 meters) Legionary.

@pisswaterball: huh guess that part can be confusing especially how they demonstrate themselves with the self-levitation and energy attacks with their bare hands. In that case, the Didact won't count as one, either since his TK comes from the gloves of his armor and not from himself.

@pisswaterball:He's a Lightbearer though, Destiny's version of one. Lightbearers are space magicians in Destiny. He wasn't a natural one as he basically stole the Light and absorbed it by sitting in the wellspring of Light.

@takenstew22: He has a jetpack with an exhaust port and he can also levitate by himself using the Light independent of the jetpack (as there's no exhaust coming from that jetpack when he floated), as guardians are capable of doing so. So technically he can use both his pack and the Light levitation to resist. He's also a large 4.57m tall and can switch between jetpack/gun and the three versions of Light: Solar, Arc, and Void.

Two psykers from their respective franchises are teleported 5m away from each other in an abandoned football stadium thanks to coronavirus. With their masks on, they engaged one another. Didact is as is at the end of Halo 4/Escalation comic with a Z-110 Boltshot and Ghaul has his base equipment (jetpack & his gun) along with his Light abilities he obtained from the wellspring of Light aboard his ship. Which one of the two psykers can come out on top?
