Normally I prefer street level, but in this instance I'm going with Marvel's mid-tier.

Since I actually understand that movies and shows are adaptations and can deviate from the source material as much as they want, being a comic fan never hinders my enjoyment of a movie.

I think worse case scenario, it'll be like Captain America: The First Avenger, not the best but still upper tier.

Gotta go with Ward. But Fisk is/was the better villain, IMO.

Creel would win. But if Cap knows about Creel's ability, then I think he could pull out a win. But still, Creel for the majority.

I'm thinking Cap would win the majority (7/10). He's better physically in most, if not all aspects, and if there is any skill difference in H2H (which I don't think there is) it's so slight to being almost negligible. Cap knows every form of H2H known to man, and can instinctively adapt to every situation and every fighting style, as stated by Black Panther (who's studied every martial art in the world). He's fought people who have displayed body reading/predicting before such as Taskmaster (who Cap has actually beaten). I'm open minded about it though, since I'm not sure what her normal equipment is, which is what they would be having in this fight.

@tg1982: not a fan of Spider-Man?

or just not a fan of his movies?

I liked the first two Raimi movies well enough. I'd actually go 11) Spider-Man 2, and 12) Spider-Man. But the ASM movies were horrible abominations, IMO. I didn't care for them at all. As for the character, I don't really follow him. But I don't dislike him.

I'll probably get crucified for this, but overrated.

I picked Captain America.

  • Deadpool is just as likely to take up the crime lord's offer.
  • Rorschach is too unstable (only ever saw the movie).
  • If I had Punisher then the cops would be after us, as well as the hitmen, assassins, etc etc.
  • Wolverine I simply don't like
  • Batman would be my number 2 choice after Captain America
