Oh Okay. So that's where these characters come from.
@terry2012: Yeah, all of these Open Sourced entries are what you'd call Open Source Characters- ones people have created and released to the Public Domain. I discovered a group for them on Facebook, and I am coming to it way late- they started in 2011 or 2012!
Honestly, the range of how good they are varies. Some of them are so buried in the universes their creators have imagined around them, they're not worth digging down to... to me, anyway.
BUT... coming into it late has given me the benefit of seeing all of the characters now, rather than as they were coming out over the last decade. I've been making connections, merging characters, tweaking teams, and there is frankly some gold in them thar hills!
And then others... well, I'm just going to use them as canon fodder. It's not that they're terrible... it's just that's the only use I have for them. :)
Okay. A half-man half-animal villain is a better choice.
Well, I don't know about "better," but my little universe has an animal/human hybrids concept, and I need to populate that a bit. So, several of the characters I've picked up from this (like Razordog), I'll probably just ignore the histories their creators gave them, and use them for that. It's gonna be fun. :)
