I'd pay to play, usually pay to play MMOs are higher quality and have more frequent and quality updates. What you're paying for is the constant upkeep of the game servers and updating and adding to the game itself.

The worrying thing is that I've heard that the game will incorporate both pay to play AND micro-transactions. I'm NOT a bit fan of micro-transactions and couldn't see them working in a DCU mmo alongside pay to play. Would they seriously charge us for minor updates while we're paying subscriptions?  I hope not.

If it is pay to play my expectations on what the game should be like would be high, but from what I've read and seen the game looks to be living up to my expectations. I think this will still be a "wait and see" scenario just to see if it looks to be worth it.

" Well since it supposedly has a monthly fee im not too sure if im getting it anymore . "
Everything I've heard says it won't have a monthly fee as its more like a Guild Wars type mmo than a WoW one.

" Oh my, this community could actually give me a brain hemorrhage.  I've seen so many "it's like making Storm/Black Panther white!" No, no it isn't. Just think about NYC for a second, think of all the different types of people that come from there. Yeah, his origin fits quite well with being black, you can remove that from your argument already.   "I'm not being racist, but..." Sorry but bringing up race alone and not explaining why it doesn't fit with the character is racism.  I think  some of you are missing the point, some have brought up the fact that they haven't seen anything from him that makes it clear that he can play a good Peter Parker. That is an excellent point, but that wouldn't stop him from getting an audition to see if he can play the part, right?  Really hate to have to explain to people that a young black man can be from NYC.  Last thing, to whoever said it, no, Wonder Woman could never be a man, it goes against the entire character and you KNOW that it is nothing like this issue. Actually gets to me, this level of stupidity.     "

GTFO. "
So what this guy's really saying is that you can't turn a female character into a man, you can't turn a black character white, but it's perfectly acceptable to turn a white character black.  So what exactly are you trying to say, that being white has no value and means nothing?  That's sure what it sounds like to me.  I'm all for messing around with characters for movies, but it has to apply to everyone or no one.  There can't be any middle ground. Otherwise you're just as racist as the people that don't want a black Spiderman. "

Thank you for your constructive criticism BiteMe.

Green Skin, no that is not my point. My point is that Storm and Black Panther have origin stories that require them to be black, Wonder Woman has to be a woman because she came from the Amazons, a society of women! whereas Spider-Man is a teenager from NYC who gets bitten by a Spider, now tell me it is absurd for a black teenager to live in NYC.

I don't know how you got "being white has no value" from my post. No, my point is that Peter Parker doesn't really represent any race, he can apply to any, that is part of the soul of the character. To say he can't be black, or asian, or any race is to just completely miss the point of the character.

I agree with Supreme Marvel. How can it be a Duck Pond if there are no Ducks? Because Amy Pond remembers there being Ducks there at one point. How can there be a doctor if the doctor isn't there? If Amy Pond remembers him.

When he comes back to her when she has her eyes closed in the weeping angels episode he tells her to remember what he told her, but he didn't tell her anything of significance. Unless he did that in the 2nd time he came around.

This is a bit of a crazy theory but try to give it a chance and have a think about it and give us your thoughts.

See they have to slow that down so we can read all of his thoughts. If they actually represented it truely as light-speed thought then we as humans couldn't comprehend it. They wouldn't sell many comics that way, would they? "
Just going to quote myself since you've craftily ignored my points.

He was way gone even before I went home, I went home early 'cause my girlfriend was at home sick. Was really fun while I was there though, I was sorry to leave so early.
