Joss Whedon previously hinted at a brother/sister team joining the team in Avengers 2. Entertainment Weekly confirms in their latest issue (with an Iron Man 3 cover story) what many thought that Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch will be in Avengers 2.

Apparently since they are both X-Men & Avengers, both Fox (who owns the X-Men in movies) and Disney/Marvel Studios can use the characters. However, it is unclear if Marvel were to use the characters if they could still be mutants or not.

The article also says that Robert Downey Jr. will be back for Avengers 2 as well.

@JonSmith: If I am not mistaken, they broke the news that the Guardians of the Galaxy movie was happening in the first place. Unless I am getting that confused with Latino Review.

After much speculation as to when the Ant-Man movie would come out, it has been confirmed that the film will be out November 6th 2015. As you are well aware of this is after The Avengers 2, so we don't know if this still counts as Phase Two or the beginning of Phase Three and if Ant-Man will be in The Avengers 2 or not. (They have also confirmed that Iron Man 3 & Thor: The Dark World will be in 3D no word on other films yet.)

(Don't know if this is old news or not but I didn't find it on the site anywhere.) Screen Rant via The Playlist podcast is reporting on a rumor that Thor: The Dark World will be used to introduce Dr. Strange into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They were comparing this rumor to other rumors in which previous rumors came true (Like Jeremy Rainer being Hawkeye). According to the report, Steven Strange would act in a similar function to Erik Selvig in the first Thor as an advisor to Jane Foster. So my guess is that he would not become the Dr. Strange who uses magic until an actual Dr. Strange film. However, unlike Hawkeye in Thor, Dr. Strange would be a major part of Thor: Dark World. Screen Rant also briefly touched on who they think could play Dr. Strange.

When Joss Whedon signed his new contract with Marvel through 2015, in addition to directing Avengers 2, it also included being involved in a Marvel TV Show that they have been working on for ABC. Deadline is reporting that the pilot is for a S.H.I.E.L.D. TV Show and that if there is time Joss Whedon will direct the pilot.
