Too few 'motivated' rpgers. Way too many other and frankly more rewarding entertainment options out there. It's a comicbook website and comics are practically dead. Comicbook movie fatigue has long since set in, with the added drawback of no talent hacks being picked to helm woke projects speeding up the rate of death. Toss in how CV the site could give a rip about maintaining a functional site and here we are. Just kinda waiting for the last wheels to fall off. Honestly 90% of the threads made will go to waste. Threads aren't gonna to promote activity. We would have to actually go out and bring in friends and pouch users from other sites. Though there isn't much here to entice anyone

Preach. Had this discussion about Comics and media the other day.

There are other text-based RPG sites out there though, I've done a few others and am currently pretty active on another but the people on CV honestly are the best writers I have ever played with. Which bums me out, cuz I am not active but I def read posts when I can here; nostalgia I guess. Blackest Winter is metal. Seeing threads that people invested hours of time into is sad.

Ishin probs takes it, but a lot of people would sleep on Merc; his regen factor even tho limited to an hour makes him practically immortal. Ishin's Black Fire (the strongest ability in the fight) doesn't do anything to him as intense heat makes his regen stronger and he is resistant to magic. Although Merc is vulnerable to beam/plasma which Ten has a plasma sword.

Ten wouldn't take this although his standard equipment has many advantages over the other combatants. Most importantly, he is too much of a showoff and lacks the strategic knowledge of Charlemagne and would overwhelm himself attempting daring maneuvers that ultimately get him killed. Akira would suffer the same fate for a similar reason.

Morte doesn't have the powerset to go the distance but would be dangerous early on.

Charlemagne's Chi/Ki based combat would carry him until the end and possibly end with fighting Ishin.

But I think Ishin, even after dealing with all the swordsman on the list eventually wins. Or, everyone dies from mortal wounds.

@tenjin: What are your thoughts on Valhalla?

I liked it a lot, especially after the patch it got better. I think it gets mixed reviews because of people's expectations and lots of online nitpicking. Historically accurate people freak out about things 99% of the population wouldn't even know existed and how there are no one-handed swords. Ubisoft developed it with the ax representing Eivor so it focuses on them but I imagine 1H swords would be introduced in the next DLC.

All in all, it's a fun game with good replay potential.

AC Valhalla got better after the latest patch, lots of bugs sorted out. I am not playing it anymore cuz CP 2077 but will play more once the DLCs and new modes start dropping.

I am playing Corpo in Cyberpunk, because assassins in suits are my bread and butter. Will play Street and then Nomad. Backward for most people but I like the "inside out" perspective of it.

TFW you have triple-digit hours into AC Valhalla: have done everything you wanted to do concerning exploring and violence so now spend your time with mundane tasks like fishing and petting dogs in the game.
