@alphablt: They had it in the mornings for the first few episodes. Plus, it's out now on DVD, Blu, iTunes, and likely the upcoming DC streaming service.

@aros001: What's so random about Robin and Zatanna? They're of the same age group. Originally, Batman and Zatara were contemporaries, so it'd make sense Dick and Zatanna would be as well.

Also, Artemis Crock is an actual comic book character.

I'm a little sad Netflix never got to have this show on its cycle like the other DC cartoons. It could've used some bigger exposure, and if it's in the new DC streaming service, I don't think as many people could get to see it.

It was pretty well-written, for the most part, and I liked having overarching stories and continuity in a Batman show. It looked like it was building to a promising season two between Anarky's plotting, Two-Face rising, the hints of the Penguin, and the Outsiders coming together. I hope DC and WB consider bringing in this and GL:TAS back in the streaming service, especially since they already have the assets for them.

He's just been cast as Ra's on Gotham, so I hope you're happy.

1. Batman: The Animated Series/The New Batman Adventures (A complete classic).

2. Batman: The Brave and the Bold (Lots of fun, probably the easiest one to rewatch).

3. Beware the Batman (Underrated and a true successor to B:TAS).

I also recommend reading the 80's run by Cary Bates, Greg Weisman, and Pat Broderick. The first two are involved in this new miniseries and some stuff from there might come up. It's also a damn good run.

Yeah, a lot of modern versions of Batman are early years, but this show really feels fresh rather than just being Year One all over again.

I prefer the game counterparts for mostly all of them except Croc. I prefer him to be a bit smart, which he was in Beware.

I'm surprised Two-Face wasn't added.
