@veshark: I'm inclined to agree wholeheartedly with that analysis.

@jashro44:Batroc may not have been a real threat to Steve, but I doubt the Kingpin would be, either. After all, MCU Cap was able to go toe-to-toe with both an inexperienced Spider-Man and blood-lusted Iron Man. I can't help but feel Fisk's viciousness as a criminal mastermind is causing some bias in gauging his physical prowess. Aside from beating up a badly injured Daredevil and briefly taking on a healthy one before losing, I don't think there's any evidence to suggest he'd definitively defeat Batroc in this scenario.

My recollection of the fight is that Gorgon landed a multiple series of blows, followed by a slash from his sword. Just to be clear here, Tomi is a master martial artist himself and is probably faster than the likes of Black Dwarf and even Hiroim. This is a guy who skewered Wolverine and knocked out Elektra simultaneously in a couple of panels.

I'd have to go with Sunny in both rounds, although without his swords this will be close. He hits harder than Danny (without the Iron Fist), moves faster and doesn't hesitate to kill. Unfortunately, there's just nothing that Finn Jones' Danny does to put him in the same league as Sunny.

As someone who was looking forward to this show irregardless of the character's race (because no, Danny does not have to be Caucasian or Asian, casting an Asian martial artist isn't racist when all the Asian actors are playing bad guy martial artists anyway, and keeping him Caucasian is both true to the source material and not racist), I'm still very disappointed these supposed "professional critics" are playing the race card here. It's embarrassing, repulsive and just as regressive as any other form of racial discrimination. If they are saying Iron Fist would be more entertaining with an Asian actor instead, then I and anyone else who doesn't see race as an issue will interpret that to mean the show is good irregardless of their opinion. However, from the sounds of it, there are a lot of problems in these first six episodes. Iron Fist isn't living up to expectations because it's simply not a good martial arts vehicle, which is exactly what it was supposed to be. They really had one job with this show, and I'll hold onto some faith that the remaining 7 episodes will redeem it.

Eh, I think T'Challa takes it in a close and entertaining fight. I would rank them as equals when it comes to skill alone, but BP is, on average, physically superior.

Iron Fist, both rounds. And I'm assuming by "dragon fist" you mean "iron fist".

Nightwing has, at his best, been able to stalemate the likes of Lady Shiva and Deathstroke, but Iron Fist has tangled with far deadly foes. One could argue without Danny's enhanced chi and his mystical weapons, Dick could theoretically outsmart him if he knew what he was up against. But that is a difficult argument to make, because Danny's not unintelligent by any measure. I see Nightwing putting up a decent fight and landing a few glancing hits with his escrima sticks, before he's disarmed and quickly dispatched by the Immortal Weapon.

Psylocke isn't really Asian. Hell, Danny Rand is more Asian than Psylocke.

Anyway, definitely Shang-Chi for me. He's a pioneer in being the first Asian character to have a successful on-going series, and has been painfully misused or underused in recent years. Katana would be my choice for the DC side, but overall not quite in the same league.

And like it's been said, Cho already has his own ongoing - so yeah...

With venom, Bane would fall easily against Blade, get beaten after a decent rumble with either DD or Shang, and put up a better fight but still lose to MK. Without venom, he's not even a factor here. Catman also falls short of anyone on Team 1. Bronze Tiger could likely take MK and at least match DD or Shang, but would more than likely fall to Blade. This leaves Deathstroke as the MVP on Team 2, and as good as he is at team-busting, I don't see him carrying the team to victory.

So Team 1 wins. But it'll probably be close thanks to Slade.

@owie: Let's just say Shang gets a fancy new panda statue for his palace then.
