@dshipp17: you know deep down that's not going to happen. Future historians 1000s of years from now are going to look back and laugh at all of these stupid people who believed they were going to fly into the sky. Never happening bro.
I'm confident deep down that It's true; there's just a small doubt within me about whether I'm saved (or could loose my salvation) and that I could receive the shock of eternity so I use this time to periodically seek reassurance from God that I'm saved in the name of Jesus; O do receive lots of neutral and positive confirmation; I'm relying on God to keep me saved. I seriously don't think there is 100s of years to go before the second coming not even decades to God, as recently a very crucial prophecy was fulfilled or the precursors were laid out for it's fulfilment and I believe that we're going through a very clear sign so I'm trying to stay ready for the Rapture; about 20 years ago I wasn't sure or saw it distant but now I think it's close; God was just so good and giving me plenty of time to develop; I always give in overflows; I'm sure that always happened with the mana from Heaven and Jesus gave the two fishes and five loaves of bread in overflows by the time that He was finished. What my case might be is that I might have made in the Presence of God before the Rapture, as, every time I get to and read the Book of Revelation, even most recently a few months ago, I have a different sense than the other Books of the Bible, almost as if I wont being seeing it
Please don't delete this comment, m'kay? Future historians will see this as another failed prediction. You do realise that all of the previous end-of-the-universe predictions have failed, yeah? They all believed Jesus would come during their lifetime. All underwent disillusionment.
I do realize that there were a few (and I also know that such isn't the whole bit of the story either), but, I also saw a key prophecy or its precursors unfold; and, if what you're talking about occurred in the late 1800s, it wasn't a complete disappointment, as another key prophecy occurred, instead, that placed that peruvial light at the end of the tunnel just 50 years later; God doesn't play around when it comes to His flock.
I really wish that I could live forever (or at least for the next 100–1000 years) to see and document the failure of every end-time prophecy. Fortunately, we have documentation—but nothing beats the lived experience of watching the loonies fail.
@last0fth3risen: This is just one woman who's acting crazy, this doesn't represent the whole of Christians, besides, she's schizophrenic as already said earlier. Teagan has made literal dozens of threads railing against Christians as if they personally hurt him.
@teaganwallis193: Based on the way you act, it sounds like you don't even want people to be religious.
I mean, sure, I don't want anyone to be religious—and the religious don't want anyone to not be religious. But change of mind cannot be done by force; it is done through argumentation, admonishment, and deconstruction of faith.

Funnily enough, I, myself, have never really been hurt by religious people—but a lot of innocent people have! It is my duty to work bit by bit to undo the damage caused by institutionalized religions and cults. Fortunately, religiosity seems to be on the slow decline—at least for the youth; however, lamentably, Islam is set to usurp Christianity as the number 1 religion in the world within the next 50 years.
