In D&D terms this is Drizzt essentially fighting a hybrid Fighter/Sorcerer who can match him in skill but has far more utility.

The debate going on about Iceingdeath canceling out a lightsaber doesn't even matter. For starters it can't be proven that it would for obvious reasons. But mostly because the Lightsaber is not the deciding factor here. The utility and use of the Force and it's abilities is what makes this a easy win for Qel-Droma.

Drizzt can contend and beat Comic Books street level characters, but your more well known and skilled Jedi/Sith are beyond street level and beyond Drizzt. Their reaction time and speed trumps even the best feats we have seen from Drizzt.
