ICONS and WANNABES (marvel)
Marvel has some of the greatest icons in the realm of super-heroes. It seems like every one of their iconic heroes has inspired a whole line of super-heroes modled after themselves. And it seems like each one of them has someone who falls into some ready made catagories.
THE ICON
THE "B" TEAM (usually a hero who took the place of the icon at one point in time)
THE "C" TEAM (isnpired by the icon, but never used his identity)

THE FEMALE VERSION
THE FUTURE VERSION
THE EVIL VERSION
If a hero group can fill all of these slots than the icon who inspired all the rest is a TRUE COMIC ICON.
