Oh you were looking for the Japanese audio, I watched it on Amazon. I don't think DC Universe app has the Japanese audio. Wait, let me check since I have my account active still. I'm watching Young Justice.

Yeah, DC Universe doesn't do Japanese audio for the movie.

I really love this movie despite its weird plot but it's like a huge homage to anime with its cliches and zaniess. I had a lot of fun with movie in my years with Batman. I came from the BTAS era. I never grew up with Adam West's Batman. There is more to Batman than seriousness. The jokes in the new Batman animated films like Harley Quinn and Batman, the Damien Wayne Batman films in recent memory are bad and laden with sexual and toilet humor.

Oh god, the animation was great. I love Joker and Harley in this movie especially during the Jason Todd scene and Spider Lily. Beautiful symbolism with the Spiderlily flowers in Joker and Harley Quinn if you know your flower language.

Great review, Cloud Guy. I understand why this film can be bad for others and good for other folks.

I feel the merge is the weirdest thing especially this is a comic book site. They are a video game based site. I agree with the others on how it feels one sided since GS is not doing the same thing.

@pikahyper:

I have heard about Kodansha's partnership with Comixology. I knew about it and Yen Press stepping up the digital releases. The only thing I heard from Yen Press was simultaneous release of Black Bulter about a dollar per chapter which is a bit of a rip off.

I'm paying about 7 dollars on Crunchyroll to watch anime and after it partner up Kodansha, I got to read some manga. It's still a small library. Hopefully, one of the companies will do a monthly subscription instead of buying by volume or chapter separately.

Oh okay, I see. Didn't know about the digital copies coming first. I always try to make lists of the manga via Comic Vine to promote the wiki pages. I'll relink them.

Part of the reason we didn't allow subs was mainly for aesthetics. If you seen some of the fan subbed videos, they use obnoxious type font. Most of our wiki editors and the mods voted majority on banning subs. In the old days, I spent my times deleting tons of subtitled images.

Just trying to find a list of light novels released in English. (have this link but doesn't seem to have sources)

I need to try out Concrete Revolutio. As for the title cards, thanks for the help. Though, in Anime Vice, we upload shots without subs. Part of our rules. I didn't know you guys allowed subtitled anime caps. I assume you guys had the same rules. If you saw the Danchigai pages, I couldn't even get the title cards b/c of Crunchyroll's premium member watermark.

I'm also extremely surprised at how well light novels are doing in the US, ten years ago I never would have believed how many are being published and bought now.

Surprised, too. It's a huge growth since it's pretty niche. Not a lot of folks especially newcomers (who just tried anime or manga) know about light novels. Still, there are ton of light novels that hasn't been licensed and adapted. I assume it's harder to get these outside of Japan due to translations and other costs.

Weird, I didn't see anything on Seven Seas Entertainment on ANN. I remember Crunchyroll was a pirated site before it went legal. It had a decline and then success later on. Fakku might have trouble since it can't do free manga or simulpub without bouncing the cost.

As for the fall 2015 season, it's pretty weak compared to the summer season. This is my current list. The shows in italics are my faves. There are ton of microseries compared to the last season.

Watching

  • Attack on Titan Junior High
  • Dance with Devils
  • Diabolik Lovers - masochist reasons
  • The Perfect Insider
  • Chivalry of a Failed Knight
  • Comet Lucifer
  • K: Return of Kings
  • Noragami Aragoto
  • One Punch Man
  • Seraph of the End
  • Young Black Jack

Borderline Shows

  • Bones
  • Tantei Team KZ Jiken Note
  • The Asterisk War
  • Lance N' Masques
  • Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans
  • Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen
  • Heavy Object
  • Hakone
  • Komori
