Weekly Manga Releases: April 15, 2014

Greetings everyone, sorry for the late Quick Picks. Been working on the Movie and OVA guide after submitting the Spring 2014 Anime Simulcast Guide article to Tom this week. For this week, we have a large selection. I'm psyched for World War Blue, No. 6, and Fairy Tail. For series I haven't tried, I'm interested in Love in Hell, and Missions of Love. World War Blue is a parody of the console wars between Sega and Nintendo. I love picking up video game references. No. 6 is my favorite dystopian themed series next to Shin Sekai Yori. However, I like Shin Sekai Yori anime more than the manga due to the manga having too many fan service scenes. Fairy Tail is one of my favorite Shonen series. I'm glad to see the anime come back for this spring season.

All comments are welcome. I would love your two cents on these series. What series are you interested in? Thank you.

Note: I'll change the links to Comic Vine's manga series by the end of Saturday due to New Year Celebration. Also, I'll add the missing Omnibus books.

Sources: All plot summaries and data are from ANN's Manga Releases page. Thanks to PikaHyper for uploading the English covers.
