To start off, I forgot my password and comic vine wouldn't let me get a new one for some reason but I got that all sorted out finally! :) So I'm back~
Now where to start..
What I've watched (Anime Series and Movies):
I watched Yu Yu Hakusho! and I'm in the middle of watching Naruto Shippuden and Flame of Recca and thinking of watching Avatar. I loved Yu Yu, I remember watching bits and pieces when I was younger but didn't really remember much, just the general feel and memory of "Oh, I think I've seen this before somewhere". I might get into the manga but that's a HUGE might.
Also watched a few amazing movies that I would recommend everyone to watch:
What I've read (manga): Finally got around finish reading Ouran, I dragged it on a little but I ended it finally. And a few others that I've been following (Natsume Yuujinshou and 1/2 Prince to name a couple).
Things I've found:
going through my google docs I found some poetry and other writing that I did in high school. It was pretty cool since I don't remember writing them specifically but reading them I know I wrote them. I shared them to my other blog and to reddit and some friends. It's a first for me because I'm really touchy, protective and shy about what I write.
There are 2 stories and a play I wrote that I couldn't find but I hope that I can from an old old external hard drive.
Life in general:
I passed my uni semester (yay!) which is a relief because it's had me worried and stressed. I'm stressed still because I'm looking for a job and its so freaking hard :( I still try and I'm working on it.
I have a boyfriend whom I love very much (it's been a little past a year since we've been together). I've just started to feel more comfortable letting people know about our relationship. I've found that I'm surprisingly secretive/cautious/careful about when I was ready to let people know (especially since I'm generally a very open person). He's shared with me so many (He likes to nerd out on Star Wars, gaming, and many other things and I love finding out all the cool things he knows). He's the only one that I can say that truly knows everything about me, that I'm comfortable to share everything and vice versa for him as well. I can see a future with him and it has given me so much happiness. He gives me happiness and I know (since he tells me) that I give him that happiness as well. We have so many things in common and still have our individuality, we've fought, we've made up, we've grown together and learned, this past year has been amazing even with its down times.
Some people may be thinking "What the F is Kony 2012 and Why am I seeing this everywhere!?" OR you may know what it is already...
I watched the vdo on youtube just now, its 30 minutes long but it was worth the 30 minutes of my time.
I won't go into detail what the vdo is about but here's what the vdo description says (and link): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4MnpzG5Sqc
"KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice."
So I was just thinking, I may be a neutral but watching something like this makes me want to take action. I hope you guys think so too!!
NOTE: The reason why I put numbers is so I can keep track of how many times I blog. I wasn't aware of any quests for blogging.
ANYWAY.... I would start of by saying "This happened to me today" but this has happened to me countless times and since I'm not the only ordinary human being out there, I'm pretty sure everyone could and would relate.
After doing some business at the shops with my dad, instead of getting a ride back home with my dad I told him I was staying back (for SOME reason).
I'm walking around the shopping center, wondering into the shops I like to go to (bookstores, JBHIFI, EB Games etc). I end up buying food, speakers and more food but I still had no idea why I had stayed back (would need to take a bus back home).
After getting on the bus and arriving home my brain decided to remind me why I had stayed back. I have a cold/flu. A nasty one. I forgot to buy medicine for it.
I can't stop watching the Avengers' trailer. Am I expecting too much from them?
I still remember my anger, disappointment (to both the movie and an actor) and disbelief (of Hollywood's failure attempt of using non-Asian actors and crappy script). I'm pretty sure The Avengers won't be like that (since the pre-Avengers movies were pretty well done).
The only thing I'm concerned about it how are they going to tell Thor's story? Since the movie ended with him stuck in Asgard. And when I looked at the cast list for The Avengers I didn't see Natalie Portman's name in it. Will they be telling his story in Thor 2 (2013)?
So many other questions to ask, but I'll leave it at that... oh and I really like Mark Ruffalo so I really hope he plays Bruce Banner well. I thought it was a little stupid that Hollywood changed Bruce Banner actors 3x!
SO. I recently received my Amazon orders! I bought a few things for a great price (including shipping) compared to the Australian retail price. I bought: 1) LOTR The Card Game, 2) Khazad-Dum Expansion Pack and 3) Six Adventure Packs.
I'm the type of person who likes to collect things, so when I see a game and it has expansions I need to buy all of it or none of it (ergo I don't touch D&D or I'll go in debt). I've opened everything and looked through everything and it looks amazing! All I need is a partner to play with! BUT since I'm a perfectionist, anal and a bit of an OCD... I need someone who know how to NOT fold cards when they play with it. I hate it when my games and books are not treated properly. I will go ballistic if a book I lent you (which I'm happy to) comes back (if ever) with pages folded or with the spine broken ( I will kill you.... metaphorically). Same goes to this game. Since I'm a HUGE Tolkien fan this game will be treated with great care just like my Sting sword (yes I have one!).
Back to the game! On the positive note since I bought it for such a great price I'm happy to share how much it costs (plus shipping) in AUS$. The only thing I was a bit bummed about was that I couldn't buy this one adventure pack (since it's only sold and shipped in the USA and Canada).

Even more cool news. I just came back from my first Gold Coast (Queensland) trip! I went to all the amusement parks (except Sea World since I've been to the one in Sydney and Melbourne). My favorite one I have to say is Movie World (Warner Bros). Since it was my first trip I was entitled to blow my money there, which I happily did.
I bought: 1) a charm bracelet with some iconic DC and Marvel hero's signature sign. 2) I bought all the photos that the rides took. 3) A Batman dog tag (with my name and LOTR's address). 4) Hermione's wand (authentic) for a friend's 21st birthday gift (she doesn't know it yet but she's trying to guess what I got her) and for myself I got Dumbledore's wand and the Marauder's Map (all authenticated, so it all cost me A LOT of money, to which I do not regret... I think).
Also, I got to take photos with Batman, Batmobile, Hawkgirl, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Austin Powers, Scooby Doo gang, Bugs Bunny and Tweety.

It's safe to say that I'm broke and a little tired. Fortunately I'll be un-broke soon but unfortunately uni has started so no rest for me... but it's ok! I've got a wand, a game and this new blog to keep me energized!
Oh yeah I wrote this blog 2x because my first got erased, I accidentally refreshed the page >:(
