Read something in  another topic, gave me an idea for a rant:
 
Let me start this by saying that I have nothing against Marvel or fans of Marvel. I don't read Marvel books for a very specific reason...there is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much cross over. And I don't mean the big events that get all the books involved, I mean that in a Marvel book, it is near impossible to get through one story arc without having to pick up another character's book, or without having to pick up a separate book with the same character. Now I'm sure this isn't across the board, I don't imagine that second stringers have all that much to do with characters in the top tier but frankly I have no interest in a lot of those characters. Can any Marvel fans back me up on this or is my observation incorrect?
