Pulses: All of Ulysses power are based on three core abilities, Pulses being his most used. He can send out a circle of energy around any part of his body that transports whatever it touches into the subspace. This can also be used to release anything he has stored in the subspace.
Enhancement: Can load up his body with Subspace particles, letting him bypass his normal mass constraints of stretching. This can be used on other objects but can have explosive results on things that lack the ability to expand.
Relocation: Can transport individual objects into the Subspace. These are much easier to retrieve so it is mostly used to store things and disarm opponents.
Teleportation: Can create a Pulse around himself taking him and anything he catches with him to a targeted location. By cutting through the subspace he can cut the travel time down to near instantly.
Hardened Form: Can increase the durability vastly of his armored skin by dumping a nearly endless amount of subspace energy into his body. This also increases his density turning him into a near immovable rock. If used on just one part of his body he can augment his attacks to carry an enormous amount of weight behind them. While doing this to his body the weight becomes too great for him to move them, this means he has to stay still when you use it.
Bio:
Left abandoned by parents, not unlike Atticus’s, a pair of roaming thief who had somehow ended up having a child. However unlike the Atticus’s they didn’t want to risk their safety looking after a child. So one night they up and left, leaving a four-year-old to fend for himself in the world. With no other choice, Ulysses fell into a life of crime acting as the eyes and ears on the streets of a local gang.
This was until Atticus’s family stopped by the small town, while his parents were away a thirteen-year-old Atticus found the young boy trying to haul away a valuable lamp as big as he was. Maybe he took pity on the misfortune of the child or maybe he saw what he could have become. It’s tough to say, but something led the young Atticus to convince his parents to take in the small boy. Oddly enough it was harder to convince the child to leave with them it was to convince his parents to take him in. However, it only took the promise of a warm bed and plenty of sweets before the young Ulysses was living along with them.
It was up to Atticus to teach the young boy and he took to the task instantly. It was a great way to alleviate his boredom and soon the two became nearly inseparable. They both ended up developing abilities something that ended up even further cementing their bond.
However, this all changed the day that Ulysses snuck along with his parents on a heist they were planning. Unknown to either Atticus or his parents, just as Atticus was improving his skills as a thief to impress his parents Ulysses had been watching and learning with him. The heist though went off without a hitch, with the young boy's abilities even saving his parents from what would have been a sure-fire capture. As the group return home, the young boy was excited to tell his brother all about it. You could imagine the shock when his brother met him not with a look of excitement but of that of outrage. It wasn’t the fact that Ulysses had gone on a job before he had, it was the fact that he hadn’t even warned his brother. The terror that Atticus felt when he awoke to find his brother had vanished was something that he would never forget and would begin to drive a wedge in their bond.
This was only the beginning, as a myriad of different events only pushed them apart more and more. Whether it was Atticus’s increased time in his room studying about medication leaving Ulysses with no-one when their parents left, or it was Ulysses frequent tendency to head on in the middle of the night into whatever town they were in and doing side jobs for gangs. All of these events led to a severe fallout in their relationship. The end result leading to a fight unlike the two had ever had, leaving Ulysses in need of being rushed to the emergency room. This was the final nail in the coffin, while his parents and brother were in the hospital Atticus left in the dead of night to start his own life.
At first, it was hard to get over the loss of his brother, but as time went on and Ulysses started to become more involved in his parent's jobs he started to move past it. He began to put his heart and soul into his craft, using the time he would spend with his brother to instead hone his trade. Combine that with the fact he was somewhat of a prodigy at it and he soon surpassed even his parents. Unfortunately, disaster hadn’t had its fill yet and it found its way it to Ulysses life once again.
One day Ulysses awoke to an empty house, with no sign of his parents or anyone. Figuring that they must have left to go on a job and didn’t want to wake him Ulysses went about his day. Hours had passed before it sunk in that they wouldn’t return, unable to accept that his new family would leave him just like his first Ulysses grabbed all the money in their safe and hit the road. Without even the slightest clue he had to find his parents he instead chose to try and reconnect with his brother. He didn’t have much to go on but he had something, the word on the streets was that there was a doctor in Bludhaven who shared the same name.
It's been a while since all that happened though, and a lot has probably changed. You wanna find out the rest you ought to just ask him yourself.
