I kinda feel bad for the middle class RPGers who were basically eradicated by discord but wow, this place is sooo much easier to moderate.

@lichter: I know what you are talking about. I'm saying to be careful mixing those terms 'cause that could create a very big problem. We don't want twenty pages of section rules like we have to have with empires and politics. The definition of selling is clear and known so we don't need it.. and lets keep it that way by not muddling those waters.

@lichter: Okay lol. Selling is in the rules. Not the CVnU rules, but the section rules that RPG mods enforce (non-rpg mods can enforce them as well, if they so choose). And I have seen this "We're selling ourselves!" thing before. If it takes off and the vernacular definition of selling changes it is going to be a massive nightmare to moderate.

Can I decide you are thing X and make you sell yourself that way? I mean, with your interpretation of selling that would not only be correct it could be required in some cases. Nobody wants that nonsense lol.

Selling is something someone else does for you and it really only applies to combat. Non combat 'selling' is really more 'putting over' a concept.
