The world is constantly changing. The threats are becoming more dangerous. Either you adapt or die. Or so that was how the saying went. Adaptation was all good and well. However, if you were able to assimilate new ideas, new influences, new weapons, into your own arsenal, you become something more.

Ronin operates as a collector, engineer, and overall mad scientist when it comes to any sort of technology, weapon, or tool. His arsenal is only limited by what he can get his hands on, through illegal or nonlegal methods and/or through nonviolent or violent means. All done under the radar and with no evidence to tie him back as his payment, delivery, and communications methods vary with each item bought.

His blackmarket contacts and resources are numerous as well as his feelers, information brokers that deliver him inside information on new prototypes of various armors and weapons, especially those that may prove detrimental rather than beneficial to him.

Ronin operates often as a scavenger after a battle or firefight, stealing and looting the bodies and bases of the dead, using their tools to advance his arsenal. Anything is fair game and up for grabs, be it meta-based, science-based, or even magic or alien-based.

Anything can be a weapon. Might as well be in proper hands.

Escrima Sticks/Batons:

The twin steel-titanium alloy sticks are designed for both being lightweight, durable in tensile strength, and having a variety of sub-uses and specialties. Small amounts of chromium-tungsten alloys have been added to the batons to give a bit more heft as well as anti-corrosive and high-melting point properties. Their primary uses are for quick and rapid-strikes, combining both velocity and agility into a rapid movement of blows intent on breaking bones mainly in the ribs, head, or arms before disabling an opponent. The ends have been fitted with electroshock devices for quick takedown of targets and have embedded tracking devices should the need arise for them to be found. Due to the nature of being expendable, the shurikens are normally formed out of cheap yet sharp and stiff alloy, in order to lower costs while keeping their efficacy when penetrating flesh or armor.

The sub-types of the shurikens tend to fall into one of a few categories: explosive, hazardous, or remote. Explosives shurikens tend to be fitted with a small amount of C4, Semtex or similar plastic explosive due to its moldable shape and ability to redirect a blast towards a targeted area. Hazardous are the tazer shurikens, designed and able to emit electric currents to take down a singular person or group of individuals, or the hazardous gas shurikens which can emit a number of gases, anesthetics, or volatile compounds into the air and surrounding area.

Knives/Bladed Weaponry:

Never bring a knife to a gun fight. One may be right in assuming such, but one should never leave home without one. Ronin's knives come in a variety of types and styles as he utilizes each for his particular needs. A number of them are either regular knives of varying lengths, sizes, or edges or grinds, or throwing knives. His type prized knife is the jagdkommando knife due to its shape and ability to tear into flesh, leaving someone to bleed out before receiving help fast enough. Nonetheless, there are specialty knives that have been developed, utilizing either poisons, acids, or other hazardous chemicals in the tips to be released when the blade is embedded into the flesh or near the opponent.

Gas Pellets/Grenades:

When a simple shuriken will not suffice to spread a gas, these pellets or grenades come in handy. Mainly, each contains either smoke, tear gas, anesthetics, poisonous/toxic compounds, or CR gas. The pellets were designed to be thrown or utilized against a singular individual, usually in close-quarters or short-range combat while the grenades or bombs were utilized when whole groups need to be dealt with and neutralized.

The shock gun, a play on words of the shotgun, is a short-range tactical device developed by Ronin himself. A short-barreled and short-stocked weapon capable of holding several taser prongs of ammo, it contains the ability to fire each prong individual or as a whole group and the range as well as the field of spread can be altered to the user's needed specification at any time. Each prong is capable of generation a current on its own without the need to be hooked up to a separate battery. Thus, one would be enough to take down an opponent, but multiple could bring down an elephant's or metahuman's worth, especially if all shots were focused on one target.

Twin Modified M1911 Colt Pistols:

With glowing optics and modified sights, the twin M1911 Colt Pistols are top-of-the-line and latest version with a few modifications focused on versatility and improvements upon the weapon through technological means. These pair of guns are capable of not only syncing with the onboard computers the user utilizes, but also able to utilize smart-bullets as well as regular ammunition. Small tracking devices are embedded as well as enhanced holographic aiming reticles and sensors in case of emergency. The handles and grips have been refitted and redesigned to utilize electric-shock devices near the magazine end, and stun prongs near the front of the barrels so either can be used to shock and disable an opponent quickly and efficiently. Carrying 7 round magazines with .50AE ammo and capable of a muzzle velocity of 1542 ft/s (470 m/s), this gun was designed to put down much larger and tougher targets as one of the most powerful handguns available. While not quite as effective as a rifle, shotgun, or even something as radical as an elephant gun in terms of stopping power, the compactness it provides in exchange for less firepower is worthwhile trade.

Tracking Devices:

For any sleuth or mercenary, a tracking device can never hurt. These little pieces of wire, metal, and signal emitters are capable of broadcasting radio, microwave, and infrared waves as well as giving real-time GPS coordinates with satellites and computers. Each one is designed a bit differently in terms of how they attach to a target. Usually, most have an adhesive end in order to attach to a surface, but some have been designed with clamps or hooks to attach to much tougher, anti-adhesive, or uneven surfaces. Each one has small camera and audio-recording device fitted in order to give visual and audio spying capabilities. All of these feeds from the trackers travel and signal directly to the user's computers or servers.

Grapnel Gun:

One of the most versatile and useful tools in his arsenal, the grapnel gun allows the user to quickly travel from vantage point to vantage point, scale large structures in a fashionable time, or be used to draw an individual or object closer to one's self. Sporting either a gas-powered or electromagnetic launch system, not dissimilar from either a gun or a rail gun in principle in regards to the firing mechanism, the grapnels are able to fire high-tensile strength cables capable of withstanding large weights and forces.
