Hi. I'm not new to the site, but never traversed the boards before. With no real news on the site, I decided to scour a bit. I'm from Suriname, a South American country right above Brazil. HUGE Batman fan, but Mr. Majestic is a very close second all-time fav.

@slimebeherit: Star-Lord is definitely less subtle than tha Wasp cover. I've seen female characters in sexy poses on covers so much even something as relatively light as this one stands out. I am glad, though, that we can disagree on the subject and still have a civilized conversation.

@slimebeherit: yes, it's not as bad as it was a few years ago. As for the DD cover, there's a subtle bondage theme going on, but that's the difference: subtle. We're not getting an exaggerated shot of Star-Lord's but or crutch or developed muscles. It happens to males too, but more to female characters.

@br_havoc: listen, we can have differing opinions, but it would wise to properly read what I said. I never said there's anything wrong with sexy physiques. I said the sexy poses are overdone. As for your Star-Lord comment, show me a recent cover where a male character is in a provocative position.

@coffeeprince29: absolutely nothing. There are sexy characters, just as there are sexy people. What I don't understand is why female characters are placed in sexy poses a lot.

@knightsofdarkness2: obviously we disagree, but I'm getting tired of people who disagree starting personal attacks on this site. Can't we disagree and have a discussion about it without throwing words like "insecure" around?

@knightsofdarkness2: it bothers me because I'm tired of female characters being objectified. It's like the companies think a female character can't sell books unless she's poppin' the booty.
