The MAGA hat is no more racist than the rebel flag. To some it is a symbol of what it stands for and that is 'make America great again' but on a bigger scale it breeds hate. Underneath it all it stands for

Hate the Mexicans, Hate the Muslims, Hate the fake news, Hate the Democrats and Hate those who do not stand up for the flag during the national anthem!

So again, to some it is a sign of American pride, but it does carry a lot of hate.
