Capitalism itself isn't a bad system. It's just the people that exploit it for their own benefit.

As for socialism, I'm not sure if it would work or not, but it sounds nice.

That's easy. Here are some examples...

  • Slavery
  • The GI Bill
  • Housing discrimination and/or redlining
  • Jim Crow laws
  • Racial profiling in law enforcement
  • Segregation

Most racism in this country is systemic, though. This is the main point here.
