As we all know by now Charlie Cox will be our daredevil. Charlie Cox is a lesser known actor, but has great talent. he is pretty much like every other person Marvel has casted lesser known, but on the rise. daredevil is only one part of the Defenders and we still have Iron fist, luke cage, and Jessica jones to wait for, but in the meantime this is how I would cast them.

Starting off with Jessica Jones the superhero turned PI.

1. Jennifer Carpenter has played a detective for five seasons now on the show "Dexter", and has a thing for playing as a flawed character. Jennifer was born for this role.

2. Eliza Dusku is my second choice for Jessica Jones. She has ties to Joss Whedon with her performance in "Dollhouse"and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". She's beautiful and can definitely handle the action sequences.

3. Ashley Greene has ties to the director of the Jessica Jones series Melissa Rosenberg, after being in almost every Twilight film. I know you guys are probably thinking "Oh god no she's on Twilight." Well Ashley was one of the only few good actors in the movie and I wouldn't be surprised if her having ties to the director wont shoot her up the shortlist for Jessica Jones.

4. Missy has played many superheroes before in "Heroes" and "Smallville". Missy always plays a very strong and appealing character and she has the acting chops to really bring Jessica Jones to life. Not to mention her award for "Best Lead Performance by a Female" in the tv show Reaper.

5. Lauren Cohan is one of the best women on television right now. She has strong performances in shows like Supernatural, Chuck, Walking Dead, and The Vampire Diaries. Lauren deserves a lead role in a tv show, and this is a perfect chance for her.

The next hero I cast is Iron Fist the warrior of Kun Lun.

1. Alex Pettyfer is the perfect choice for Iron fist in my eyes. He looks just like Danny Rand. He already has experience with using cgi powers as he did in I Am Number Four. Alex is physically fit and I'm pretty sure he will be able to perform the physical burdens that come with being the Living Weapon.

2. Ryan Kwanten falls at my number two. Ryan is a great actor who is kind of underuse in True Blood in my opinion. He has the acting chops to be able to handle his own series, and he looks like Danny Rand as well. ryan has proved that he can play a complete badass, and would mesh well with a character like Luke Cage. He also has the look of a billionaire.

3. Ryan Philippe is a great actor who has studied martial arts since he was a kid. He also has the look of Iron Fist, plus he sorta has that lesser known factor that Marvel apparently likes.

4. Cam Gigandet is a fabulous actor who has been in movies like Priest, Easy A, and get this Never Back Down. Never Back Down, is basically a fighter movie, where Cam Gigandet shines. I can really see him playing a character like Iron Fist who's basic style is martial arts.

5. Zac Efron has been rumored to be playing an upcoming Marvel character, and this is the only one I can really see him playing. I would have no problem with efron playing Iron Fist, he has the look and the build to pull it off. Efron has went to being a musical basketball player, to being a frat boy, so why not be a superhero?

My last casting is for the powerhouse of the team Luke Cage. Before I cast this guy I want you all to know that terry crews is not in the list. I do not think he is fit for the role.He's old, cant be taken serious anymore, and the whole reason you guys want him to be Luke is because a.he is black b. he is big and c. he is bald. That is not what defines Luke Cage.

1. My number one choice for Luke Cage is Michael jai White. The guy can fight! He has enough acting chops to be a lead role, and has played a family type man in his Tyler Perry films. He has also been in the movie "Never Back Down", so seeing him and Cam Gigandet teamup would be pure awesomeness.

2. Out of all the actors for Luke Cage Boris Kodjoe looks like him the most. I mean look this guy up, he IS Luke Cage. This guy is a giant! He has been in films like "Resident Evil" and "Surrogate". He also is a regular on the tv show "Husbands of Hollywood" with Kevin Hart.

3. Shemar Moore is another guy who I think can pull off an excellent Luke Cage. He plays a flawed character on the show "Criminal Minds", and has even voiced Cyborg before. He has the look and build for the role, and really likes the comic book community.

4. Chad Coleman was outstanding in "The Wire", a tv show about drug game in Baltimore. you have to watch this guy in that show, he screams Luke Cage. You also might recognize this big guy from "The Walking Dead".

5. My last casting for Luke cage is the actor Lance Gross. if Lance Gross can put on a couple more pounds of muscle he can definitely pull off the role. the funny thing about Lance is that he can look very young or very old depending on his facial hair. Lance is also a lesser known, and you know what that means.
