People on Youtube who got early access are saying it exceeds all expectations. Basically saying that even at 4 hours they were still ready to watch more.

It would be better to have her be part of a new show with another character imo. I mean the main thing is there has to be an interesting story to tell and even better if it fits in somehow within the larger mcu universe. If it's just to give Wanda more screen time then it will probably be bad.

Gaea is stated to be the mother of all Gods, as far as I recall. Could be wrong.

I think the correct word was source of all divinity.

Yeah, true. I always took Gaea's I give you my power literally because it doesn't make sense otherwise. Wasn't Herc boosted by some artifacts as well?

In all honesty it doesn't really make any sense at all. She just tells Hercules to be reborn in the crater where Gaea gave birth to the gods and some mumbo jumbo and then he becomes super large(to where he dwarfs earth) and is able to knock the Chaos King through a door into an empty universe where he is sealed up. Then he uses up all his new found power to undo all the damage that CK did to the multiverse. CW was a horribly written story imo and the art was terrible as well.

@spambot: I'm not sure Gaea has consistently been portrayed as that powerful. Sometimes perhaps.

At her height (Chaos War) - if I'm remembering correctly - she was depicted as far above the likes of Skyfather!Hercules, and it was her power added to his own that enabled him to go toe to toe with Mikaboshi.

I think they are somewhere between Skyfather and someone like Shuma who is said to be far above the combined power of the Vishanti which is 3 of the more powerful elder gods.

I don't remember it ever being said that Shuma > the Vishanti, let alone >> them. Oshtur has on a few occasions been depicted as the antithesis of Chthon, who himself has been compared to Shuma in recent years, as I recall.

Gaea was the catalyst for Hercules somehow unlocking his powers but which I think was pretty much just plot power. I think it has been said that the Vishanti combined could only hope to banish Shuma from the 616 universe though writers aren't always consistent about anything.

The weakest of the major ones (Gaea) is well above Odin. The strongest (Oshtur/Set/Chthon) are probably up there with the likes of Shuma-Gorath.

Wandavision was good but a lot of the episodes felt like borderline filler tbh and it didn't really feel like all the elements that were hinted at here and there got their due. Mando also had filler episodes relative to the overall story but I think were slightly better done and the finale was much better imo.

I don't really recall Frigga appearing much prior to Simonson's run if at all.

I'll have to go back and reread Lee's run one day.

ya I've read a large majority of it(though its been a while) and can't recall any wife figure for Odin in it. I think Frigga was the first mention of one which was around Thor 345-350.

@spambot: LOL, why are you getting so upset about this? I never accused you of anything, i just wanted to point out that beating up Avengers isn't anything special and that Surfer comment is funny, i already know Thanos trashes Surfer regularly. Calm down.

No one's upset bro so calm yourself down. The problem is when you are trying to point out something under the impression that the other person doesn't already understand the point you are trying to make. It's just annoying more than anything else. It doesn't mean I'm mad because none of this is important enough to me to be mad about it. Just take some responsibility for what you write and don't act like a victim just because I replied to it. All I did was point out what Thanos has done as relating to team busting. Obviously we could also go into fights he's had with beings considered to be far more powerful than those teams(such as Galactus, Odin, Tyrant and many others) if we want to make this into a respect thread but that's already been done. The Avengers don't always tend to be just Thor either. It really depends a lot on the iteration of the team. Often they have at least two heavy hitters.

So have plenty of other characters... Hell regular Hulk has as well, that's because 90% of the time the entire weight of the Avengers is carried singlehandedly by Thor with the closest others to him being Tony and Carol who are obviously not on his level and then you have a bunch of street tiers like Widow, Cap, Panther, etc.. So really busting the Avengers isn't that impressive, i think Surfer put it the best

No Caption Provided

I didn't say anything about Thanos being the only guy to bust the Avengers. I simply answered someone who asked if he had busted any teams. I mean you brought up Surfer who Thanos has made into his personal whipping boy on multiple occasions. He actually takes pleasure in beating Surfer senseless with almost no effort.
