@ecstaticgrace: the murk thing was 100% purely for plot. Abnett either forgot he wrote that or maybe Arthur just didn't think Murk would go that far to betray him and didn't see it coming.

@comicfan11: I think the force/impact would be no problem for him but for sure the radiation would probably mess arthur up a bit.

The obvious answer is Ivan Reis, but I feel like Jesus Saiz really drew a great, classic Aquaman.

@ecstaticgrace: Honestly I had just assumed that Croc was able to bite through the armor but was stopped short when he tried to get past Aquaman's skin. It seemed implied at least with Croc of course commenting on his skin as well as (what seemed to be) Aquaman bleeding briefly.

**edit: At first I was kind of irked because the matchup seemed like a no brainer and I was surprised Croc even hurt AQ at all but given the context that Croc was able to snap Katana's blade, the feat seems much better now.

@ecstaticgrace: I think it's fair to say he dodged a super-speed punch, the lines indicate(at least to me) that they're moving very fast. But I wouldn't object if someone else didn't believe so. I'm looking forward to seeing how Manta could do with this new squad. RIP sea santa, you will be missed.

@ecstaticgrace: yeah it was a good issue, i'd like to see how the fight would go if Arthur had his trident. Also Black Manta is a savage.

@matchesmalone21 have you read the latest justice league issue? He got a major strength feat holy moley.
