Who wouldn't want to own the very first Batman comic book? Even if by some reason you didn't care for the character (although I can't imagine why) - this is supreme bragging rights.
-
Hands down one of my favorite comic books - the cover design, the first full appearance of the Wolverine, it's the full package for me. I did own a low grade copy of this book, but to help me finance an engagement ring for my wife, I sadly parted with this book. I terribly miss it and would love to own a solid graded copy one day...

Hulk is one of my favorite Marvel characters and I really like Jack Kirby's art. The cover for this book is phenomenal and I dig the question mark on the page with the text inside. Oh, and it's the origin of the Hulk if that matters.
-
Captain America is another one of my favorite Marvel characters and what better way to showcase Cap other than him punching out Adolph Hitler?! Look at the expression on Hitler's face!
-
Iron Man is NOT one of my favorite characters in the Marvel universe - especially after reading Civil War. I do, however love this cover and the WHO? WHO? WHO!?! text, along with the "He Lives! He Walks! He Conquers!" This clunky style Iron Man is way more slick than the Mark VI Iron Man suit imo.
-
First appearance of Solomon Grundy - one of the coolest villains in the DC universe!
-
First Appearance of Swamp Thing, one of my favorite DC characters. Bernie Wrightson art. 'Nuff said!
-
I am not a Spidey fan, however I am a Punisher fan, and what better way to express my hate for one character and debut of another? The cover of this is slick as hell, Peter Parker in the cross hair of a scope? Sweeet.

Duh.
-
Amazing cover art.
-
Always liked Deadman. Key issue, nice cover.
-
Again, love the cover art.
-
The Sandman wears a vintage World War 1 mask and fights criminals with a gas gun. Plus, look at that wardrobe. Slick as hell.
-
First Black Manta! Key issue with one of my favorite DC Villains!
-
No explanation needed.
-
Neal Adams art and an anti-drug story? Speedy shoots heroin? Whaaat?

See #15
-
Alan Moore story, beautiful cover.
-
Love this cover. Modern Wonder Woman shrieking in disbelief at the Golden Age Wonder Woman. Awesome!

Like to collect wedding issues. This was one that I can't seem to find at a decent price.
