Background Amani is a young mutant who hails from London England, who lived with her two parents and generally had an ordinary life. As one might predict, her mutant powers manifested, and manifested very destructively in the middle of class. She fled, and unintentionally caused large amounts of destruction in the city, garnering the attention of the Private Military Corporation Maverick, Inc. She was chased, and came very close to being subdued, until she let out an omni-directional wave of energy that incapacitated and killed most of the personal pursuing her. All except for one contractor (now rogue) named Pax . This synthetic, genetically engineered weapon chased after a drained Amani relentlessly and came very, very close to killing her had it not been for the efforts of Abigail Aensland and Anastasia .
Fleeing from the engagement, she finds herself chased by more Maverick personal who, this time, subdue her quietly and presenting her with no actual chance to resist. It is only through the efforts of Abigail that she was able to evade an incarceration and being handed over to authorities.
Recent Events Amani, now on the run after helping stop an alien beast , returns to being on the run once more, trying to figure out with what to do with her life.
Powers and Abilities Amani is a rather powerful mutant with a single power that has multiple applications, the psionic control of electrons and the ability to channel this energy through her own body. Being that most all matter is bonded together by electrons, this means that Amani has potential to be a powerful, suspected even of being an Omega level mutant. However, she isn't there. At least, not yet.
Electron Manipulation Psionic Conduit: However, contrary to what many would believe, Soliton does not store electricity within her body like other mutants might. Instead, she gains energy from rather, a deep pool of psionic energy that can only be used to manipulate the electrons of any matter. The quantity of energy is not really a problem she has to deal. More, it's how much of her energy she can channel before she strains herself.
She has been measured to rather casually put out energy on the scale of gigawatts, rivaling that of large scale industrial nuclear reactors.
Electromagnetism Manipulation: One of the most obvious applications of the ability to manipulate electrons is the ability to manipulate the flow of electricity, with her able to channel it safely through her body. Her skin in actuality, has superconducting properties that enables her to channel prodigious amounts of charge, any electricity striking her like a faraday cage, is unable to reach her nervous system. Freely, she can even manipulate electricity outside her body through her psionic energies and through moving electrons to generate magnetic fields.
Chemical Catalyst: Soliton is very well capable of manipulating the electrons within their orbits, enabling her to cause things to combust, dissolve, disintegrate, deflagrate, detonate, form, bond, synthesize chemical and large host of other things. However, for anything major, she has to essentially touch it.
Applications
Things that generally, she has found herself capable of doing.
Electricity Generation: One of the most obvious applications of her powers is to control electricity within objects and people through the use of psionically manipulating electrons themselves or through generating magnetic fields. She can generate lightning, overload machines, stun generally anyone who touches her.
Plasma Generation: Through ionizing the air, Amani is capable of generating varying degrees of lightning and other types of plasma at extremely high temperatures of 54,000 degrees F, for brief amounts of time. Through intricate shaping of magnetic fields, she can forge this into a weapon and generate powerful EMPs to disabled nonhardened electronics from a distance for hundreds of meters.
Propulsion: Soliton can propel herself through various means, such as ionizing and burning the air itself as plasma and using the energy from this to propell herself, while carefully containing it's temperature with magnetic field.
Polarity Field: A sort of magnetic forcefield she generates, it is capable of primarily deflecting charged particles and objects that are magnetic. She can deflect plasma, certain types of explosive devices and other projectiles, particle beams and even alpha and beta particle radioactive decay. However, most bullets are made up of a lead core encased with a copper jacket. Meaning that the polarity field is useless against it.
Bio-Manipulation: Can control the chemical reactions of the body through touching. Usually, this is used to stun, paraylze or put people to sleep by touching them.
Molecular manipulation: Can manipulate matter on the molecular level and control physical and chemical properties of said matter within a short distance. However, generally, chemically inert matter is more immune and more difficult to control. This is very short in range and is limited to things she can touch, like her clothes for instance.
Ice Generation: Can remove energy from the electrons of other particles of matter to create ice or decrease ambient temperatures.
EM radiation generation: The ability to create electromagnetic radiation of any kind, except for things of the scale of hard X-Rays and Gamma Rays. This can be used to create radio signals, jam radio, create beams of light to stun targets or drill through hard materials, create blinding flashes of light and generally numerous other applications.
Characteristics While her body has adapted to overcome the immense amounts of energy it has conducted, Amani is in many ways, still human.
Notable adaptions include a high resistance to extremes of temperature, electromagnetic radiaton and loud noises that lightning creates. Things of the magnitude of an explosion (200 Decibels compared to the 120 Decibels of lightning) do harm her but she is very tolerant of it in general and can even escape being deafened by it.
Her body is however no more resistant to things like bullets, being struck or stabbed than a normal human. She can also still be poisoned and functionally has average levels of strength and speed.

Her ability to manipulate chemical elements in a controllable manner to produce deliberate and precise effects is attributed to her knowledge of chemistry and of different types of chemical reactions. Synthesis, Decomposition, Replacement, Displacement, Combustion and others.
