Superman is supposed to be the center of the DC Universe, not some character who appears in a few movies and is never heard from again. Leaving him on the back burner is insulting to the comics and true fans who know the source material, as well as the character himself. Making a sequel to Man of Steel could do wonders for the DCEU as a whole. It could redeem the "angsty" take on Superman that counts as a borderline character assassination. It could introduce new heroes - like Supergirl or Martian Manhunter - or set up some great new villains - like Brainiac, Bizarro or even Black Adam - that could be in the DCEU for years to come. Also, if they really want to keep Henry Cavill, they need to put Superman back into use ASAP. I and many other DC fans are tired of waiting. Prioritizing sequels for Aquaman and Suicide Squad over Superman is just plain insulting, so just hire some writers and give us a real, faithful Superman film!
