It seems like Marvel is making the X-Men important again.

Which makes sense, considering that Marvel has confirmed plans for the X-Men in the MCU after the Disney/Fox Deal. And who better to write it than "Deadpool" creator Rob Liefeld?

It better not disappoint.

Though I thoroughly enjoyed the last Avengers/X-Men crossover, Avengers vs. X-Men, Marvel's comics have been uneven as of late, with social commentary often taking the place of a compelling, complex story. Fresh Start has been much better so far, but Marvel still has a long way to go if they want their comics to measure up to their movies. Though there are not any details as to what the story is about, it seems promising.

According to Liefeld, the X-Men will be much bigger in the comics from now on than they have in over 20 years, as Marvel's regaining of the rights has reportedly increased the budget for the X-Men's comic series.
