Invest in scientifically manufactured foods. We already have meat grown in a lab and cow milk is making serious headway. There is no need to even have cattle anymore.

the problem with that is that if i remember correctly, a single hamburger patty made of meat grown in a lab costs 800 dollars.

It was significantly larger than that. It was more like 100k IIRC. But the price dropped dramatically. There was an article that came out this month that updated that price tag. A lab grown hamburger is now $13.

great news ! i havnt read it yet, but i'll be sure to read it tomorrow.

@jack_donaghy: That's pretty much how it is with MoS. Supposedly it's so bad, but people can't stop talking about it.

i really think the majority of the problem with those people disliking it so much is just age. i remember watching the movie Training Day for the first time and it wrecked me for quite some time. No lie. It was like it was shattering this little glass world my little naive mind had built. And now that im almost 15 years older? Its one of my favorite films.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I was the same way with Alien.

Glad you agree. Im sure they'll change their minds in a few years too.

@nickras:

Thors combat speed is pitiful? He's caught and beat speedsters before. He caught Zefra with his cape when she was trying to avoid the High Evolutionary. He's fought guys like Silver Surfer and Gladiator. His combat speed is excellent, but his reactions to FTL characters are better.

It's a well known fact, Simon Baz makes his constructs out of crackers. Every person he fights breaks them.

His combat speed isn't FTL, maybe his flight speed is but that's not combat speed. He may reach FTL speeds over time but that would be over time and distance. Unless he plans on self BFRíng himself and Vibe he has no way of keeping him safe in the long run.
Hulk smashes anything he makes, Tony Unibeams them.
Other than MM, none of the JLA are putting down Hulk and the Avengers. Even if he does somehow manage to put down Thor, that would be after HOURS....DAYS....WEEKS of battle and by then his entire team are dust.
AAANNNDD whoever compared Stargirl to Graviton.....wtf that's like comparing Dr Polaris to Magneto, they're on different leagues.

with regards to the underlined part, that would be @heraldofganthet .

Theoretical battles like this are against the rules as they possess zero feats.

Daredevil, while dark, still had it moments that allowed some humor in it and made the show fun while still keeping its serious tone in tact. My biggest issues with Man of Steel was that while it was VERY serious, there was never a moment where I was smiling and feeling excited about the hero I was watching in action on screen. The movie was serious, which of itself isn't a bad thing, but in my opinion it took itself TOO seriously and didn't allow for any real sense of humor or "fun" moments to happen. It was just seriousness, for two hours, which doesn't make for a great superhero film, especially about one where the hero is suppose to be the embodiment of "hope."

As for Dawn of Justice, it appears to be maintaining that same seriousness we had in Man of Steel, which again isn't necessarily bad, but it can become an issue if the film takes itself too seriously and forgets the fact that it's a superhero movie, which truly are meant to be fun and exciting at some points.

i thought it had plenty of humorous moments. like when he snapped the handcuffs off easily. when he messed up that jerks rig, when zod punched him and mad the "days without accident" sign go to zero, the "i just think hes really hot" comment, and i mean, those are just off the top of my head without having seen it in a while. it had plenty of funny, light hearted moments, but some people just want more. some people WANT the "wise cracks every 30 seconds" kind of film. and thats fine too. different strokes for different folks.

Those funny moments in MOS don't count apparently because unless the characters are grinning 24/7 and every other line out of their mouth is a one liner the movie is too dark and serious. I guess the trailer should of shown Batfleck smiling in a Adam West style costume, Superman giggling while flying through a field of daisies and ending with the 2 cracking jokes at a picnic.

but thats just it though, MoS wasnt even dark. maybe im just old...but it was nothing. it was just like a regular movie to me. was it more serious than most comic book movies?sure but that doesnt mean its dark. all it means is that its more serious than other CBM's that are geared towards the teen/pre teen audience. i dont know the comic vine average users age, but id assume its a pretty young average age if most of these people think it was a dark/serious movie. but thats fine too. its ok for people to disagree and like different things. personally, im not into the kiddy CBM's that constantly crack jokes. I enjoy the V for vendetta/watchmen/MoS/DarkKnight type of CBM's much, much more than films like guardians of the galaxy. maybe thats why i enjoyed Daredevil so much. But as i said, to each their own.

i feel like im completely on the agnostic side or even the atheist side sometimes cause its just so easy. i just look at facts and logic and it makes me easily question religion but there are also times when i want to believe...
